The year 2025 is coming to an end and the winter holidays are almost there. This is a great time for all of us to come together and have some fun.
What better way to do this then with a jolly party?
Planet Cyrene and BIG Industries therefore invite you all from December 8th to 14th to Cyrene’s BIG Winter Wonder Party! A whole week full of fun events and jolly games await you.
We will host hunts and extended SSIs with 15k sweat buys for a whole week starting on Monday, December 8th and finish with two Special SSIs and 30k sweat buys on Saturday and Sunday (December 13th/14th).
Expect Dev spawned creatures, shootouts for high markup items, trivia and games for giveaways at these Special SSIs! On top of that we scheduled two BOSS SPAWNS, various fun and competitive events during the weekend where you can show your skills to win some cool prizes.
Dill and Starfinder 29 will provide a FREE warp on Friday, December 12th, starting from Calypso at 18 UTC, going over Next Island (18:15 UTC) and Arkadia (18:30 UTC) to Cyrene for you to be on time for the main party events during the weekend.

19-21 UTC Mang Chang SSI with up to 15k sweat buys for 2,5 PED per 1k sweat at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 137744, 79761, 104, Mang Chang SSI]). The nearest teleporter is (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 137797, 79525, 176, High Desert]).
21-22 UTC Tide Claw Rubio Hunt. Right after SSI we will form a hunting party of 10 players at todays SSI location and teleport to (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 135366, 75580, 110, Ice Plateau Outskirts]. Every member will get a Rubio rifle and some ammunition there and when all is set up, we take a quick ride with a Dropship to the nearest location with Old Tide Claws. For more fun bring some additional ammo. We will hunt until our Rubios break!
Tuesday, December 9th
19-20 UTC Sky Wraith Rubio Hunt. Meeting point is (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 136265, 75629, 108, Rift Station]). A hunting team of 10 players will be created once more with priority to those who haven’t participated in Mondays hunt. You will get a Rubio rifle and some ammo and then we shoot all Wraiths out of the sky. Bring some additional ammo for more fun.
20-22 UTC Dire Weed SSI with up to 15k sweat buys for 2,5 PED per 1K sweat at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 135228, 75782, 102, Mature Dire Weed SSI]). The nearest teleporter is (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 135366, 75580, 110, Ice Plateau Outskirts]).
Wednesday, December 10th
19-21 UTC Tide Claw SSI with up to 15k sweat buys for 2,5 PED per 1k sweat near the Rookie Training Area at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138843, 78160, 106, Tide Claw SSI]). We sadly had to cancel the originally planned Yule Daudaormur SSI at the New Janus Arena. There still seems to be a bug with the creature control pills. Only a certain number of players can sweat and shoot at these mobs at the same time.
21-22 UTC Mang Chang Rubio Hunt. As soon as we stopped the snake invasion from Next Island, a team of 10 will get Rubio rifles and ammunition. All who haven’t participated in a previous hunt will be picked first into the team. Our destination this time is (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 134726, 78140, 101, Miner Isles]).
Thursday, December 11th
19-20 UTC Undersea Folken Rubio Hunt at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138459, 77256, 100, 0x101 Supply Depot]). There everyone participating will get the hunting gear. We use the rings nearby for a surprise underwater attack at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 132479, 74859, 25, Undersea Folken Scout]). These Folken won’t even see us coming!
20-22 UTC Nimet SSI with up to 15k sweat buys for 2,5 PED per 1k sweat at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 134100, 76665, 105, Nimet SSI]). The nearest teleporter is (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 133714, 76477, 102, Great Plains]).
Friday, December 12th
18 UTC The FREE Warp starting on Calypso, going over Next Island (18:15) and Arkadia (18:30), will bring you all to Cyrene early enough to catch all teleporters and check out some “Must See Locations” before our main party on the weekend starts. To catch the warp send a friend request to [Dill Dildonamore Amore] and join the ingame channel #sf29. There you can see the status of the warp and can let us know that you want a ticket for the free ride. Ticket counters open at 17:00 UTC.

21-22 UTC Zeladoth Rubio Hunt. After SSI ends we will form a hunting party of up to 10 players at the SSI location and teleport to the (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 136265, 75629, 108, Rift Station Teleporter]). There all team members will get a Rubio rifle and some weapon cells. When all is set up, our hunting squad will board a Dropship that will bring everyone to the battle zone at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 135826, 74526, 105, Zeladoth Male Weak]). For more fun bring some additional ammo. We will hunt until we HoF big as we did last time!
Saturday, December 13th
11-12 UTC Lost and Found. We still have problems to adjust our Zyn Rucksack and the Basic Version we currently use seems to have holes in all the wrong places. Sadly we forgot about this design fault until all the items we put in it, fell out during our trip all over Planet Cyrene. Help us find them!
This event will be played in the [#cyrene] channel. There a location and a perimeter will be announced where we think some items got lost. It’s then up to you to find the lost items. Finders Keepers!
We are not sure yet how many items we lost, so this event might as well continue during the whole weekend with a new location announced every few hours.
13-14 UTC Fruity Stones. Meeting point is (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138259, 76275, 111, Atlas Hunting Grounds]). There we create a team of up to 11 players and then teleport to a certain area on Cyrene where the team spreads out to find locations of fruits and stones. Trade this essential Information with us in the team channel and receive some PED as reward. Post the most locations to win a special prize! 15-17 UTC Special SSI with Dev-Spawns and up to 30k sweat buy for 2,5 PED per 1k sweat, including fun trivia questions and games for giveaways at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138197, 78477, 138, Special SSI]) near (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 137988, 78630, 150, Zyn'Tukano Border]. Chat with Kris, Shawna and Nico, our Dev team, poke them with your questions about Cyrene and what might be in store with future updates.
There will be a shootout for some high markup items during the event. Get yourself an Initiate’s Laser Pistol (L) from the trade terminal if you want to participate. This is the ONLY weapon you are allowed to use. You cannot win if you use any other weapon!
17-19 UTC Boss Spawns! Right after the end of SSI the most massive Cyrene creatures will try to scare you away. See the Duke, Clyfford - The Mecha Arret, Byg Byrds, Monstrously Toxic Jellyworms and the Gigantic Scuttler! You will need your biggest weapons fully amped to bring them down! We call on all hunters to show their skills and keep those creatures from taking over Cyrene!
19-20 UTC Run for your Life! Meeting point will be (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 136256, 79234, 110, Duster Hazing Station]) about 570m SE of the (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 135762, 79503, 107, Kwarn, the Destroyed City Teleporter]). Get a delicious Screecher Lollipop and become a “cute” little birdie for 10 minutes. Try to survive as long as you can at this unwelcoming place where hunters will be out to get you and win a prize for being the last of your kind.
21-22 UTC LSL Hunt – Pick out the Bones. Meeting point will be (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138411, 77127, 101, 0x101 Cyrene Booths]). Starting there we will go hunt some Arrets and Puny Tree Dragons. Up to 11 hunters can participate in this team hunt. Our weapon of choice will be a plain unamped Initiate’s Laser Pistol (L) from the trade terminal. No buffs of any kind will be allowed. Be careful not to shoot any rich creatures! The hunter who loots the least amount of shrapnel total during the LSL Hunt wins. Special prizes will be rewarded for each time you loot some bones.

Sunday, December 14th
11-12 UTC LSL Hunt – Crystal Flaxen. Our hunting team of up to 11 players will form at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 137483, 78440, 157, Hive’s Edge]). Priority to join the team will be given to everyone who hasn’t participated in Saturdays LSL Hunt. The rules are the same as in the LSL Hunt above. This time we will go hunt some Sprouted Dire Weed and special prizes will be rewarded for each time you loot some Dire Weed Flaxen or Crystal Pollen.
13-14 UTC Junk Scout Bot Hunt at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138017, 76841, 102, Junk Scout Bot]). Meeting point is (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138279, 77179, 116, A.R.C. Immigration - Tanhok]). For this hunt please bring your own SET-P1 Civilian Sidearm (the pistol you get in the starting mission on the new player planet Setesh). In case you don't have this pistol but want to participate, you will get a Rubio rifle to shoot. Every member of our hunting party will get some weapon cells. We then go to (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138017, 76841, 102, Junk Scout Bot]) to scrap as many of those Bots as possible. It might be a good Idea to consume an Auto Loot Pill from the trade terminal before the hunt.
15-17 UTC Special SSI with creatures spawned by our developers Shawna, Kris and Nico and up to 30k sweat buy for 2,5 PED per 1k sweat, including fun trivia questions and games for giveaways at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 138197, 78477, 138, Special SSI]) near the Zyn'Tukano Border TP.

17-19 UTC Boss Spawns, Part 2! Cyrene’s boss creatures will start another attempt to rule the planet. Don’t let them succeed! Every hunter on Cyrene looking for some prey one can’t miss, is welcome to join our hunting party. Come to our SSI place near Zyn'Tukano Border TP to get your swirlies!
20-21 UTC Ice Race. The start an finish line for this race is at (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 136266, 75629, 109, Rift Station]). In this 3-lap offroad race you have to cross several waypoints that are marked by placed Yellow Crystals - visible from around 100m away (don't pick them up!). How you drive from one to another will be up to you.
Our racing car is the Explorer Mk. 1 (L). Please bring your own if you have one. If you don’t, we can provide some for a collateral of 15 PED that you will get back after the race.
We will be here at 19:30 UTC already and strongly recommend you come earlier too to do some training laps. Don't forget to mount some winter tires and snow chains!
21-22 UTC BIG Industries weekly **FREE** Ngu Volcano HSL (/wp [Planet Cyrene, 133199, 79919, 101, Ngu Volcano]). You will find this free to register event in the event list of the game (press B to open the event list).
Ngu Volcano is the home of Flesh Rippers (1.000 – 1.500 HP), Old Jack (1.300 HP) and different maturities of Renegade Hazard Mechs (250 – 7.500 HP). Compete with other hunters for 150 PED in prizes in our Highest Single Loot hunting event.
