Cyrene stable Pet Giveaway event

Cyrene stables will be hosting its first event! We will be giving away ~100 pets randomly* throughout the upcoming weeks, so that you can own a Arret without the hassle of taming it.

1) I, Angus Grayvey McFadden, will be standing at the stables [138532, 77267].

2) I will post on to #cyrene. "Cyrene stables pet giveaway! First person to initiate a trade with me will get an Arret for free"

3) I wait at the stables to trade.

4) Once the pet has been given away I will post on the channel. "Cyrene stables pet giveaway! Congratulations the winner is "insert avatar name", but we still have more to give away so stay peeled for next time"

5)The name of each winner will be posted on this forum post.

Rules:
1) no more than 1 pet per person during the event.
2) I will not start the event if I think someone is waiting next to me for the event to start
*3) I will attempt to spread out the give-aways over given time zones. However, please appreciate I'm at EUT.

Also, during the event we will endeavour to have a supply Nutrio bars to sell in small stacks, should the winner (or anyone else) want to buy some to feed there new pet.

Thank you sluggo for the support, but I have to say that Harmony tame the majority of the pets.

I also for to mention that there was one winner yesterday, which was petronella. Aplogise for the late post and well done with your new pet.

If we do not feed a pet for a while, does it die off, or undo all the work we put into taming it, or just need to 'refeed' to bring it back happy or what?

I am pretty sure you just need to 'refeed' it, but i never had the heart to try :)
I will try it today and let you know the results.

Sluggo, i'll leave you in Harmony's capable hands. From what i read in the old forum post, the pet would run away if there affection dropped too low.

I've not read anything official since the reintroduction that would mean it's possible to loss a pet.

We'll get an answer later today.

We also have our #5 and #6 winners. p1kk0 and Valle. Congratz on your new pet.

Well a few hours in:

the mood dropped to 0% pretty fast, the affection is still at 2% though. And it's looking at me really really sad :Cry3:

ok the affection is at 0% now to, apart from it looking really hungry and cold nothing is happening. Couldn't stand to see my arret like that so now he is properly fed :)

I'm also running down a pet to see if it packs it's bag, think i may last a few days to see what happens.

Also, today 4 more people received an Arret pet for Christmas. Well done to LadyMichelle, MeowMeow, Maiato and Jessica Riley.

Remember a pet is for life, not just for Christmas :)
