I think I've done the Paneleon with Weak Paneleons about 20 times now which is 4000 Weak Paneleons kills and so far the only A.R.C. Challenge for Paneleons are Old Alpha paneleons. Same goes for the new Duster, probably done them at least 10 times or so (only Scapegoats).

Don't know if it's just me or not, but I can't "activate" a drill bot so I can't hunt them and I verified at the place where Drill Bots and Tide Claws are both present (128416, 82891) and Tide Claws can be selected.

I just finished 200 Paneleon kill points and the reward says it's "Combat Reflexes" which did not move an inch after completing the mission. Instead I got BLP Weaponry Technology skill reward.

Weird. I've gotten hit by mobs in a Sleipnir Mk1 (L) and never gotten TT value decreased. All I've heard is that the vehicle needs to be "totally" destroyed before that value goes down. If it's just the Sleip that this work on, perhaps time to sell the Quad and buy a Sleip again :)
