Currently I'm off work in real life due to an illness.
Thought I'd put my time to good use by downloading and tinkering around Cryengine SDK with the purpose of ultimately developing a proper mech by melding the avatar class with a vehicle class to create a mech class. Cryengine doesn't have a specific built in mech class so developers have to do some kind of complicated work around. During my research I found another game where they succesfully created a mech using this kind of approach i.e. by fusing avatar and vehicle class together.
Anyway so I downloaded free sdk from: http://cryengine.com/get-cryengine/free-sdk
unzipped the zip file.
Now I'm stuck not much of a developer eh got stuck on first step. Anyone tinkered around with this kind of stuff? and know what to do next? I'm guessing I have some specific software that's required missing for development.
