I think the summoning is a GREAT tactic! BUT a summon notification should come like a friend request notification. In the form of a red and yellow blinking icon in bottom of chat window so players couldn't accidently accept the summon. Until summoning is fixed then MA should take the current issue very seriously as its an exploit of the current systems in place.
