Material requirements for blueprints and drop rates

Travelling through time...
Most of you have probably noticed by now that crafting on Cyrene is not exactly friendly when it comes to specific resource availability or markup.

I'm inviting everyone to join me and suggest changes that should be made regarding blueprint requirements and specific material drop rates in hunting and mining in order to improve crafting.

I didn't include Cyrene Collectible items since...well...they are collectible items.

For quick info I will give links to my Google Docs spreadsheet where I have collected information about armors, weapons, tools, refinable materials etc. so you can see what is made from what and if it is worth it. It is all in the same spreadsheet, you can select categories in the top navigation bar but just to make it a little easier:

I will update this post as frequently as I can with new information. I will try to list every blueprint there is available on Cyrene. However I already know that I don't have information about all of them and that some of them might already be changed and I just don't know about it. So please share your knowledge in order to improve this list. All your suggestions are welcome.

Seems kinda weird that some texture blueprints uses different materials than the usual leather+extractor combination. Maybe I'm just old school...but I think using default combination would make crafting textures a lot easier.

Right from the start some low level armors used too much "rare" materials that made crafting a bit expensive.

This is my list of changes that in my opinion might help improve crafting a bit.
Most of these blueprints would become easier (cheaper) to craft just by increasing specific loot drop rate in hunting and mining.

the B.E. L weapon bps really need to be looked at feel pretty silly wasting that many tokens on them. making them is a loss there is not way to profit off these. the MU and TIME it take to gather just a few clicks is silly.

just some thoughts on them not sure. i dont mind the big # of common mats used but i dont like the big stacks of crafted items and rare things.

I actually dropped in to praise TunerS for the hard work of this thread!
Personally I've rather given up hope of seeing balanced bps. I accept it is tricky, however, as each bp is like a mob type with just one loot - if it's worth doing, then everyone will want to, if not, then everyone will leave it.
Given this, I once again praise TunerS for trying to go through all bps and trying to make constructive suggestions! :)
Edit: I guess for many people the hope of good bp drop rewards is an incentive to go for bps that look merely somewhat uneconomic.... but so far the bps seem absolutely miles away.

I wish they would make all components have at-least one use. Lysterium Power Container is one that is missing a purpose.

How have I not seen this! amazing work tuner, Although alot of the issues could be solved if the items created were actually in a competition of comparable items. Meaning the more competition with rival items well help flow peds and loot through the economy noobs will hunt for loot, miners will mine and crafters will craft items. When i crafted I noticed the formulas on weapons are in fact up to "MA" standards but the formula was created at too huge of a gap. this formula just needs to be refine and polished and I Could See Cyrene Prevailing. I've dedicated alot of time and peds to get alot of things rolling but in the end Loss > Dedication gets the worst of even myself and im just stepping out of reach till things could pick up again. Hell if anyone has an economic plan ill be willing to foot 20K peds to help build Cyrene economy back up.

I like all the ideas I am seeing here.
Stuff seems hard to get here on Cyrene, and some of it almost impossible to get.
Perhaps if some more of the Blueprints would drop it might help the economy a bit. It seems that most of them are locked up in safes somewhere not being used much.
Right now Ive been looking a long time for the Medium Power supply one, Id like to do them myself to finish that mission instead of just getting stuff off the auction if possible.

It appears some of the folks are tired of crafting because the economy is sort of dead. yet the economy might be sort of dead because nobody is crafting stuff, so no buying stuff, nasty little circle going on here.

I know some of you will probably say this don't fit here but, OPEN shopping booths might help this a bit.
Another problem with auction is you tend to have to buy a LOT of quantity to get a price that is not insanely marked up on a lot of items. Sometimes someone does not want to buy 50 ped of stuff, they just need 10 ped, but the seller has to sell it that big to just make their auction fee back. A shopping booth might alleviate this problem AND it does not end like the auction does, a person can stock their booth and check it once a week say, instead of having to babysit like you sometimes have to do when doing a lot of auctioning. Anyways back to blueprints.

Instead of changing existing blueprints since that might cause game mechanics issues, how about issuing new ones with the new recipes listed? You can have an event or a period where they drop and that in itself would give the eco a bit of a kickstart too. Maybe you could do some NPC missions where we have to gather something / craft a chain of something etc and the blueprint is a reward? That gets us to put ped into the game for a way to maybe get some back out, win win for both.

I know I am new here and really don't have much of a place to be saying what *I* think should be done but I really like what I see in Cyrene, in my eyes it has tremendous potential and I would really like to see it succeed.

I never even seen fine hide on cyrene, but making dificult to craft local textures, is like not wanting cyrene stuff beeing over the universe. I was pretty anxious to use seawrath texture but when I saw what it uses, I gave up
