Official Cyrene Event Planet Cyrene Creature Spawn - February 1st 2019

Hello everyone,

I had such a great time helping out Monira with their Planet Cyrene Field Trip this past weekend, however, I know that there wasn't much of an announcement for Cyrene players about it so it seemed more spur of the moment than it actually was and some players ended up wanting to be there but due to the lack of information were unaware until the last minute and unable to attend.

I also got some really good feedback from players at the event who said they rarely come to the Forums or Discord (shameless link to our totally awesome Discord Server : LINK) and that I should incorporate into the CL into more of the talks and info that's here.

After I found out about the players who didn't know and couldn't come, I felt bad that it wasn't announced correctly, and told everyone that I would do another Creature Spawn next week and here we are :

On the 1st I'll be in game from 14:00 to 16:00 Server to play not only monster spawner but amateur heal bot for two hours.

Looking forward to seeing you guys in game.

Awesome Kris, I'll put a link at our forum to let people know as well, and thank you again for being the gracious host that you are, even when you are unleashing holy hell on us in the process.

To expand further on the Monria field trips ... it's part of our Monrian Born Program ... we take our Monrian Born on weekend field trips to planets to guide them through the beginner missions and do TP runs so that they have more options to explore when they go back on their own. The majority of the weekend is working with our Monrian Born to assist them in accomplishing as much as possible. We have a Monria support team as part of the field trips that help our Monrian Born throughout their experiences over the weekend ... Monria Community Assistance Team (MCAT).

What I do is coordinate with Kris to host a 2 hr mob spawn event if he is available, and he is always graciously available. I too appreciate the feedback, and while we don't have a global event terminal because we are a Moon and not a planet, I can post our field trips that include a mob spawn event hosted by Kris at the Cyrene forum as well.

I did post an announcement on the Cyrene Discord server, and made announcements in the Cyrene chat channel, but apologize that the word wasn't gotten out more effectively. I will be more mindful of this in the future.

Victory Mothership will be offering a Free Warp from Planet Calypso to Cyrene, Thursday January 31st, around this time, to help accommodate players wanting to participate in Friday's 'Creature Spawn' event on Planet Cyrene.

Another Free Warp will still be available on Friday as well for those not taking part in this event.

Don't worry, usually those events are at USA time with lilmc. This is the first time at european time
For the first time i can be there That time is perfect for me !

I'll keep this in mind, I already saw on another forum they didn't like the time or duration (maybe they are used to 8 hour events?).

Going forward we'll try to cater to more time zones.

This is correct, normally Lilmc is the guy who does the US times when I'm asleep. I'm still up late to do it on Friday (9 pm to 11 pm my time here in Thailand) so I'd have to setup something to be very early for me and evening for US players then a weird time for Europeans.

It's hard to juggle with it being such a global community.
