As free as the sacred kong is, it just takes time for both. You just need the kong idol which a player can trade you, so you don't even need time. One just needs to let others hunt till the kong arrives, (which is how it happens) so the sacred kong is far easier to get then this WolperTinger...

You don't want players getting easy MU? It's bolsters the hell out of the economy and would bring many players here as well. I see no downside to letting players get thousands of ped in MU.
