Yes they are but for noobs, armor is not really an option and even on that, why beat the hell out of it and lose ped (yes even the little love taps add up after a while) getting sweat when you can do a slightly safer mob and not lose part of your profits into armor repair? sluggo

There's always weak panelions, you can even sweat them solo if you need and there is no group. 80 HP on them, not a ton at a shot but enough you can go grab a beer, or move laundry from washer to dryer etc w/o drying them out. sluggo

A little hint on them, they crawl very slow, unless you are melee, get to the outer edge of your weapons limit and walk backwards plugging them, by the time they catch up with you, they should be almost dead and only smack you a few times before giving up the loot. Might even be able to hunt...
