A.R.C. Challenge 5000 Tide Claw abandoned, but cannot restart

I'm not sure whether or not this should be considered a bug, but I think it is.

Recently, (I don't recall the exact date) I accidentally abandoned the A.R.C Challenge - 5000 Tide Claws. (It was late, and I made a mistake there).

I went in search of the challenger, but could not find any NPC who offered this mission. After searching the web, I was guided to Challenger Russell. I sought him out, but he was unresponsive and offered no (additional) missions to me.

Is this mission no longer available? I do hope to be able to reacquire this mission, even if I must restart it with zero kills.


Any advice or suggestions would be welcome.

Hey tbarmike,

I'll investigate and see to make sure that everything is working right from our end. None of this was changed on our end.

EDIT: The NPC is still there and the mission has right correct linkage, so I'll have ask MA about this as.

try some other npcs, I'm sure a friend picked it up from a npc north of staging area, the camp with blue cystal npc. Russell wouldn't talk to him either

Or maybe you should just stop picking on those poor little crusty's and leave them alone

I believe Paul is correct and the NPC mission is in the blue crystal area now. That would be a bit north of the ARC Staging area

138 880 , 77 250 should get you in the general area to find the guy

I ran around the suggested area and talked to every NPCs there. one of of the challengers offered me the quest.

No one had the yellow exclamation mark over their head, but the mission was still available.

yea i think some NPCs are mixed up, the skreel mission seems the same and im certain some where in cyrene an NPC has his mission
