Hey mastermesh,

Now on to the other issues... the Rat Race (daily) to end the maze doesn't seem to be working for me tonight... It's like the waypoint at the end of the maze just isn't there so the mission doesn't complete. Don't know what's going on here? Hopefully it'll show up tomorrow?

Hmm, quite strange, no adjustment has been made to this mission for several VUs, and it doesn't have the same issues in test, I'll check with MA to make sure there's no sync issues.

P.S. Don't see the turn in the maze hammer npc taking any back yet? (sort of ok though since I've tiered up at least one to tier 2 and may go to 3 soon)

We'll move over to this thread that you made here >>LINK<<

Cheers,
Kris

Hey mastermesh,

The rat race works now. Think when u land on planet it doesn't work first day but does on day 2

That's a weird quirk, I'll see if there's anything we can adjust from our side to make that be the fix.

Cheers,
Kris

I think it has something to do with how fast the textures, etc. load. If there's lag when you first come in it seems to cause the issue or something. Don't know if there's a way to fix that or not. Only thing I can think is that it may have to do with where the X at the end is located... on the z plane? You got that teleporter there if you jump up. Maybe the x is just below the floor line and needs to go up a notch or something similar to how the old povr posters used to sink in to the walls so you couldn't see em until someone tweaked em after we filed a support case, etc. I don't think it's something major, just something that has to do with load time of the maze itself, as far as 3d items like walls loading, etc. I haven't done maze since latest vu with the new graphics yet. (still wearing down a 5 hour buff that gets me a 30% skill boost so don't want to waste time running maze til that wears down in another 2 hours in game)

Similar little issue I noticed... cannot remember which area of maze it was but I think it's on the side closer to the entrance than the exit... there's some little bitty gap in the wall that makes it look like you can walk through the wall to the other half but cannot since it's too small of a hole. I think it's ok, just a visual thing, but could throw off someone new to the maze on first few go throughs as they might think they can squeeze through when they cannot.

We went through and adjusted the ending boxes to make sure they were both separate enough from the warp out as well as making sure when players enter into they are fully encompassed.

After the adjustments to the maze ending, we adjusted the majority of gaps and weird corners in the maze without fully altering the layout.

Thanks for the information and feedback.

Kris
