Alternative Scout 200 Spawn(s) Request

Hello,

Since this is my first post here on your forums, let me start off by saying, I really like your planet - the landscape, the variety of mobs, interesting quests/missions, even the relatively low population of players atm (though I realize the goal is to attract more obv).

First arrived to Cyrene a few weeks ago, but flew back to Caly to check out the Halloween Mayhem as well as the new areas and now have returned to Cyrene to continue where I left off exploring and doing the low-mid level missions.

Ok, to the point of this thread. So this new crater thing seems to have affected the one and only Scout Bot 200 dedicated spawn (the only one that I know of, at least) and it has changed it so that - to put it simply - it pretty much sucks to grind.

Oh, I forgot to mention that one of the other things that I especially liked about Cyrene was that the mob spawns in general were really good - at least the ones I've been hunting (low to lower mid level mobs) - as far as locations/terrain, multiple spawns for the same mob to choose from, no insanely ridiculous mix of mob types or levels (Again, for the mobs I'm hunting at my level up to now. Not sure about higher level mobs). All good for grinding. It's apparent that the planet developers actually put some thought in the mob spawns.

Anyway back to my point. This altered Scout Bot 200 spawn is a drag to hunt now. It seems a quarter of the mobs spawn high up on the walls of the two steep ?ravines (not sure what the correct term is). Another quarter gets destroyed by the turret between the two steep sides of the ravine and once you kill the other six or seven that aren't up high on the steep walls or getting turreted, you have to wait around a bit for more to spawn.

So to make a long story even longer, I would like to kindly please request if the developers could look into the possibility of an alternative/additional spawn for the 200's. It doesn't have to be perfect like the protocore spawns - flat and concentrated. Just something that makes the Scout Bot 200 missions doable/less painful terrain-wise and time-wise. More money for you, more fun for us.

Thank You

P.S. If there is another Scout Bot 200 spawn that I have failed to notice, I would very much appreciate if someone could point me that way. Thanks.

P.P.S. Also a special thanks to those who have shared their information on everything Cyrene by way of informative posts, guides, maps, charts, etc. It takes time and ped to gather and put out that info and to do it freely is much appreciated. Respect.

TL,DR : Cyrene is cool. More gooder Scout Bot 200 spawn(s), please.

i had some good times doing their missions. i did mostly the 100s by arc hq though and have yet to come across a good 200 spawn since the vu.

as far as i can tell there is only 1 spawn of 200's and its north of Marsh Base Barral.
It used to be dedicated 200's but now its mixed in with a bunch of protocores <they are not that aggressive and you can tip toe around em for the most part>

But I agree that only having 1 dedicated spawn of a mission mob is kinda sucktastic

Hello Optimator!

Thank you, we're working hard to make Cyrene more awesome each VU.

Yes, I thought there was another dedicated spawn of Scout Bot 200s in between A.R.C. Head Quarters and Southern Base but that might not be the case.

Yes, we took time to make many dedicated maturity spawns for a wide level range of creatures on Cyrene.

I will personally add a decent size dedicated spawn of Scout Bot 200s' for the next VU.

We have a great group of players here on Cyrene and we're going all the time.

Cheers,

@non: Thanks for the welcome :) Yeah, that area by arc hq is good for 100s and I've hunted those for the 100/200 mission. The only thing is I hunt in 1st person pretty much exclusively and manually target (I'm from the FPS school of gaming a la CSS) and those 100s are so tiny at a distance. That's why I prefer the 200s and their big 'ol eggheads for that mission.

@Tal Maru: Yeah, that spot you're talking about was the place for 200s before the last update. A little bit of running, but I was a happy camper grinding away.

I will personally add a decent size dedicated spawn of Scout Bot 200s' for the next VU.

Wow, thank you, Kris! That's awesome. I'tll definitely be more useful and favorable especially if/when there are more than one person hunting them at the same time which I was going to mention in my last post. But yeah, I'm really looking forward to the next update then. In the mean time, I'll keep exploring and work on the other missions/quests knowing a more gooder 200 spawn will be coming. Sweet. Thanks, again!

Cheers

Hi again. Just noticed from TurnerS's map thread that a new (I think) spawn for 200's was made. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet as I'm on Caly doing MM, but when I take my break from MM, I will definitely hit that. In fact, maybe later tonight when I finish a couple more MM runs I'll head on over.

Thank You, Kris, very much for answering my request and making good on a promise. I feel really special. From what I've seen it's just another of many examples of the Cyrene developers listening to their players doing everything they can to make their experience better.
