Mining Amps??

After having a look around the forum and not seeing anything on the subject (quite possible i missed it if there is) i'm curious as to whether there are any plans to introduce Cyrene mining amps in the future?? Although i'm not a hardcore miner i do throw a few probes around now and then for a change of pace and use amps if i'm targeting something specific for crafting, so it would be nice to be able to buy and or craft local so to speak ( keeping peds in world) instead of having to go off world to get them. Even possibly just 1 low, 1 mid and 1 high level for respective skill levels.
Hopefully Kris and or Lilmc can shed some light on the subject.

There's been plans for Cyrene to have more of it's own mining tools for quite some time actually, right now we do have this unique mining amp: Level II Finder Amplifier 'Athena' . It does take Cyrene resources and currently exists in the game to be discovered.

However, similar to other crafted items on Cyrene, it's something that we are pushing for to have on our own planet made with our unique materials and looking for MindArk approval in this matter. This is right along side crafted MindForce chips as our crafting continues to expand.

Hopefully Kris and or Lilmc can shed some light on the subject.

Hey Kris,
Thanks for the quick reply, having read other posts in the forum i know you guys are reliant on MA's approval for alot of things and they do tend to drag the chain on anything not directly related to Caly from what i've seen.

I didn't know about the "Athena" so i will be keeping an eye out for that bp. Hopefully MA will start playing ball soon and allow the release of more of what you have planned in the crafting and other areas.

And yes light has been shed lol.
