Its unfortunately not a bug. Only ancient pets can be spawned in all planets, new pets are planet bound :/

I believe this is because the mob models are contain in the planet download not the shared download. so they made those creatures planet bound just like you cant take arkadian DNA and put it on a calypso land area

I am pretty sure it is because exa and diakeba are universal mobs (any pp can spawn them on their planet if they wish) while all the other pets (including snables, even the ancients) are not universal so can not be spawned on other planets.

My guess still is that the puny mobs will be planet pacific to help to not flood the market with them.

or not to..... depending.
Still, I do like the loot of the arret, but have to ask if different whips have a stronger effect than others? I was using one of the old whips and the arrets were very hard to coax into a tamable state without killing them...
Maybe changes will be made?

Old whips will make more sense once we'll be able to tame larger creatures - right now they are overkill since all the tamable mobs have very low health.

My whip is not overkill on bristlehogs, for example. Something like 20% of them are in tame attempt area after just four cracks of the whip, getting the health down to a point where you have to then wait for regen if unsuccessful in taming. This is not so for the arrets, hence my question (reworded) of whether all whips have the same tame effect/dmg point.
To be honest it would be a bit crazy if the new whips were better, as it would mean bristlehogs would be even more of a breeze (easy) to tame with them, so I guess it would be more direct to say simply: arrets are imbalanced, please change them! But I'm not 100% certain, thus my question......

I dont get it - why all mobs should be same? Why all things should be easy?
Things got to be different and some got to be harder.
For example i made the merfolken stage of Zora Epic Mission Chain when it was taking 2 weeks of 6-8h a day. Ppl were crying, and now its 1,5 of a day.
I dont $%#%# agree with that tendency.
All things cant be easy, cuz then all things will be worth nothing.

Because it is the only Cyrene pet at the moment. Maybe it makes less of a difference as they are not spawnable on other planets (yet?), but there is "planetary comparison easyness" unfortunately...
I agree with you too, though :)

I many not be seeing the big picture yet, but imo there is a huge difference between 'everything easy' and 'balanced'.
There needs to be balance in the game, there need to be +s and -s to each item, activity, idea, etc...

I don't necessarily agree with the new unified/balanced TTs across planets but it was done for the sake of balance.
The 'puny' pets with the same hp should also be 'balanced' across all planets.

Tell me what the + is to Arrets? If they cost more, take longer, and cause more frustration, what is their advantage over other planets puny pets?

then the supply of them on the market will be lower, so the MU higher, and those who can conquer the difficulties, will profit on it. thats the balance that the live itself makes for u ;)

Unfortunately for now, that will not be the case since they are planet bound. It just chases off anyone interested in skilling.
If they are stronger in battle once that is introduced then they will have an advantage, but there is no point in them having 'higher mu' right now as they are negligible anyways.
