Caution When Totem Summoning

Master Chief

Smuggler - Hibernation
Use High caution when using the Totem Summon item to Summon the creature at the 0x1 Supply behind eve playground, There is a chance it can summon within distance of the local turret which kills it on sight. Also when summoned watch your movements if you use walk backwards while firing.

Also, When Non Steps into the Arena Mob instantly Dies.
(Might mean when more then one person in the arena it might trigger mob to die?)

well that's no fun. Id imaging it'd be real no fun if you sank a few peds of ammo into the beast then when it is almost dead, accidentally walked it into turret range.

it happened to me the other day, mob died when someone else entered the arena.
But I dont really see a problem with it, system tracks your overall TT return of a profession, so it will even up eventually.

lol your even saying this here... when you see the it says the turrets did it... you clearly pulled it through the doors of the area even closer to the turrets. i gave you this link in local after you blamed it on me.. and your still saying that i killed it with the mere grandeur of my presence :p

dude i had to log off the other day since I had visitors coming over, idk what links or what ever you said later in chat so please...

But yeah the mob died after you entered the arena, what was I suppose to think, when it killed me and I came back in the arena I didnt move after I started shooting it again, so yeah it looke like another avatar entering killed it.

And like I said just before i had to log off, nvm all good :)

As I did not test this theory I cannot be sure, I just added info from people relaying info.

So it is unverified if it is even possible, I will have to give it a shot when I get another totem. It could also be a possibility that Major had accidentally got the mob just barely in range of turret.

There are no personal lootpools. This does not occur.

I know this because it's fact stated by MA.

Independent Lootpools - One concern that we see very often on community forums, especially when a big All Time High is achieved, is that one profession is unfairly “financing” a huge loot in another profession. This misconception often results in one group of participants (i.e. hunters) becoming upset or frustrated that their activity is being used to fund the rewards given to another group of participants (i.e. miners). To hopefully dispel this misconception, we would like to inform participants that the loot pools for each main profession (hunting, mining and manufacturing) are completely independent of one another, and that a large loot in one profession has absolutely no impact on potential loots in any of the other professions.

Personal Lootpools - Many of the theories which suggest - inaccurately - that efficiency is unimportant will often employ the concept of a “personal lootpool”, claiming that the “system” will eventually provide a sort of compensation to avatars who have been operating in an inefficient manner. Such theories are very much misguided. There is no such thing as a “personal lootpool” for individual avatars, and there is no system in place which tracks each avatar’s returns over time, or which provides compensation to individual avatars. As a result, long-term results in Entropia Universe are directly related to the choices made by each participant, and those who approach their chosen profession in an efficient manner will find more success than those who do not. Overall this is a very positive thing and an important part of the Entropia virtual universe concept, as it allows those participants who spend the time and effort to approach their activities within Entropia Universe in a smart way to improve their chances of becoming successful, just like in the real world.
