Good Monday morning everyone! Thank you all for your patience as we took some extra time to make sure all entries were counted. We are planning to announce the winners of the raffle this week. As for it being live, Kris and I are waiting to hear back from the big boss. I'd like to again thank everyone who participated in the booth event!

You think Kris and the team haven't checked with MA first? Lol... This rule is in any case very mallable from MA's side. I think they put it in there to prevent players from starting ingame casinos and what not that may be prohibited by Swedish law.

Raffles are a one-time thing, adding some fun to what you're already doing (grinding). An ingame raffle like this does not make players pay more for their activity (as opposed to LAs, which are more casino-like with their ~4 % rake) than they already do (tt loss is the same). Sure, Cyrene will get some added revenue from the excessive grinding some players choose to indulge in (as opposed to excessive grinding on Migration etc.), but they also add value to players through booths.

One can also argue that Migration is a raffle. Tons of people pour bucketloads of peds in, but only a handful of players gets the imp armor parts or super rare UL guns. Not much of a difference.
