Hi. I'm not the greatest wiki guy around but I have done some work on Planet Cyrene missions and mobs on the Entropia Planets forum.


Why doesn't Cyrene forum have a wiki?

is over two years old and useless
I'd like to see a fully open mission mob item (I have a headache already about this one) for this forum.
Hopefully Peter and Lykke can help out on this. I will try to input as much as possible once the templates are ok.

Hi Oleg.

Entropedia had issues. EP is seriously understaffed on the Cyrene side so I'm working on that. You should see some improvements under Cyrene Forum / flora fauna /creatures in the near future. EP is about 2 years out of date so it is time for me to get my butt in gear.

Yes, I agree the problems Entropedia has been having are a big issue. The ideal would be to get Entropedia fixed up and fully working again. It's worth noting too that it's not the case that Entropedia can't be updated, as some people seem to think. It's still possible to update/edit most of the info there. Unfortunately however there are some tables in which adding new items is not currently possible.

problem with entropedia and other community wikis, is that sometimes data i put there gets edited or removed. dunno if its trolling or what, but whatever, i just made my own site about cyrene. cheers

If I knew what I was checking the history of, I could do that :) I searched for updates by Thanatos but there are none, so I guess you use a different username there.

I'm only asking because it's important to protect the integrity of Entropedia's data. If there is genuine abuse then that can be addressed. I can understand your frustration if that's happening to you, but it's far better to improve Entropedia than to abandon it.

Your site is great btw, as I think I've told you before, but I see it is a complement to Entropedia, not a rival to, or replacement for it.

While talking about entropedia. I'm not 100% sure about this but from the start I noticed that Enkidd Howler S.4 Blueprint (L) was once added on entropedia when it was actually profitable item to craft and then when I checked it again a few days later, it was suspiciously gone from entropedia database. Those who knew what it was and where to get it didn't forget about it obviously. But seems like someone or some players are making sure that some things stay hidden as long as possible. Still, not 100% sure about it, might have just mixed up something.
