Empis Queen- Epic Tanhok and Tanhok Amber.....

Just a little confused mayby somone can answer a few questions....

Reading info about the quest on cyrenesecrets.com. It mentions nothing about using the tanhok amber as a combine with the tokens to get the weapon at stage 10.... It does however mention the amber as an ingredient for queen bait however...

reading some info on this forum and watching "Fifth" old you tube video however...

You clearly see him combining the tokens with the amber whihc then gets consumed to create the Tribesman Token to get his reward...


Now yes this video is old so its old cyrene before the change of course....


My question is then wouldnt you need 2 tanhok ambers actually for this whole quest?

1 to combine with the tokens to make the tribesman token for the ul weapon at stage 10....
Then an additional tanhok amber to use in empis queen bait recipe as the first will get consumed for stages 11-12?

Can anyone clarify this a bit more?

Also has anyone actually spawned her recently?

Someone told me that part of the misson is bugged. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Anyone who has spawned her... can you list approx hp .... damage, damage type....

Does she time out? Does that bait get consumed once spawned ... and need to loot another one(=other ingredients to spawn again) or is it like the jade fragment that can be used over again?

Correct you'll need 2, 1 to get your reward from beating stages 1 - 10, then 1 more to make the wasp queen bait.

I have not received any reports about it being bugged currently.

No time out, and the bait is not consumed, very similar to the Jade Fragment in that sense.

Stage 10 completed and I took the Bp S1x4 as reward I like the better dps over dpp thankfully i was lucky enough to loot two ambers... so i have one for the recipe as well...

HELP HELP HELP!!! The mission IS bugged....

I got my reward just fine.... but i then see teh tanhok ambassador for teh next stage like i have been doing and the npc does nothing.... no yellow exclamation or blue one either.... I have ALL ingredients to make teh recipe on me as well? Kris can you look into this? amI doing somehting wrong? last stage thats completed in my misisons is stage 10:we need a bigger boat? but cant access stage 11?

also tried checking out hives edge for this "tanhok master tracker" thing? is it a npc? cause i sure a heck coudlnt find anything other than the dragnfly there?

KK... Found teh tanhok master tracker... that npc says i dont have the zekkonian wasp call... i guess thats the bait..... Tanhok amabassador still does nothign even after elog... and teh tanhok master hunter says "come back to me after you finish stage 11... well i would come back to him if the ambassador would unlock stage 11 for me....... PLEASE help?

kk.. i was all wrong.. after i had left to go to crytal palace... i was told i was at worng spot... and had to see the senator at supply for stage 11 and not the tanhok ambassador... MY BAD ... I wetn as saw teh senator and succesfly made the queen bait .. sucessfully got teh zekkonian wasp queen call... now all thats left is to drum up a few Cyreaneans and hunt the queen!

Not sure I understand what you write. This is not what the Tanhok Master Hunter NPC indicates. It says: "You will need to use (destroy) your Wasp Queen bait to summon the Wasp Queen."

In my previous post I asked the Cyrene management whether the Wasp Queen Bait is consumed or not, as they seem to be contradictory messages about this...

I'll clarify this as much as I am able:

Stage 11: The Senator Speaks - After you get past the first 10 stages and collect your reward, you go talk to Senator Calvin Neff, who instructs you to create a Wasp Queen Bait.

Stage 12: The Empis Queen - Once you've got the Wasp Queen Bait, keep it in your inventory, and talk to the Senator again, he'll have a repeatable quest that give you a Wasp Queen Call, which is used to summon the Empis Wasp Queen.

Stage 13: Empis Wasp Queen - Destroy Her! - Head over to the Tanhok Master Tracker and give him the Wasp Queen Call (which you can now get as many as you want provided you still kept your original Wasp Queen Bait from Senator Calvin Neff) and summon the Empis Wasp Queen.

So the Wasp Queen Bait is not consumed, but used as a requirement to be able to the summoning item, the Wasp Queen Call, from the NPC.

First you need to change log for the stage 11, it send you to Janus for find the senator.
Senator is at supply depot

Done and it work

Stage 12: The Empis Queen

Senator send you to the Tanhok Master Tracker

Stage 13: Empis Wasp Queen - Destroy Her!

- Head over to the Tanhok Master Tracker and give him the Wasp Queen Call (which you can now get as many as you want provided you still kept your original Wasp Queen Bait from Senator Calvin Neff) and summon the Empis Wasp Queen.

Log are not good, wrong waypoint, the Tanhok Master is at Tanhok. Senator don't give you the wasp queen call, its the Tanhok Master who give you the wasp call and it don't summon the Queen empi.

So the Wasp Queen Bait is not consumed, but used as a requirement to be able to the summoning item, the Wasp Queen Call, from the NPC.
