Epic mission S1x4

Just curious as to whether or not this is a "limited time" mission? Will the S1x4 be available indefinitely? Will more weapons be available in the future? Don't wanna miss the s1x4 but the flip side is.... What if we spend 3 tokens then a month later a better weapon is available for 5 tokens?

Hey Menace,

The idea is that, this item is your initial reward for completing all ten of the Stage Two Epic Mission challenges, the other is being able to summon a special creature that has special items.

There is no proposed time limit from our end so I would say it will be available indefinitely (it's also able to be traded/auctioned). I'm planning to add other options before the next VU that are on par with this item (since not everyone uses BLP pistols) but not after that.

I also want to touch on how the tokens work. For each completed quest of the Stage Two Epic Mission, you are awarded a token (one token per stage), once you have all the tokens (10 of them to be exact) they then need to be refined into a Tanhok Tribesman Token, which can then be used as currency to buy the Ozpyn BP S1X4. It is also not planned at this time for those missions to be repeatable, (as in collecting a 2nd set of tokens and refining them and buying another item that costs a Tanhok Tribesman Token).

I hope this clears everything up.

Oh wow! A PP that actually communicates about stuff! GREAT REPLY! I guess I'll grind up the missions and refine my tokens. Spend them once there's (hopefully) a laser pistol available.

I'm even more excited now that I know EXACTLY how this mission works!

Is there a detailed list of all the parts to this mission somewhere?

Would love to know what I've got to look forward to. Currently I'm still doing the 10k zeladoth leg of the mission which seems to be part 1.1.
After that is part 1.2 kill 10k of another mob? Right now I'm led to believe that stage 1 will have 10 parts. Zeladoth 10k being the first. Someone had told me that the other parts are quick easy missions and that stage 2 starts with kill 10k of something else then follows with another 9 quick small missions. Is this correct?
Kris posted above that 10 tokens is the reward for each stage. They refine to 1 token. BUT he also said the gun is the reward for completing stage 2 and its sounding like that should only give us 2 coins after refining yet the gun costs 3?
Or.... Does 10k zeladoth unlock stage 2 at which point we will complete stage 2, and 10 coins refine into 3?
Its my understanding that we're still waiting for a few final missions to be added.

stage 2 is 1500 merefolken (spearmen or bigger), from stage 3 to 10 is broken atm, as far as i know.

u got it totaly wrong...

Stage Two Epic Mission challenges is the whole chain of missions where killing zeladoths is a first mission, and it starts at the Ambassador. Stage One Epic Mission challenges was a mission chain given by Zora.

the Stage Two Epic Mission chain has 10 missions, each one is rewarded with 1 coin.
all that coins (the sum is 10 coins afted 10 stages) can be refined into one Tanhok Tribesman Token, which can be used to buy a reward from that vendor. atm the only reward is this blp pistol, but seems there will be more to pick from.

first mission was to kill zeladoths worth 10k killpoints
second mission is to kill 1500 merfolken spearmen gladiator (im not sure how much of them, cuz i did it while ago)

further stages are not avialable yet, will be after the vu (at least i guess so).

i hope this clears ur confusion

I'll have to check this, it should only cost 1 coin, if it is displays 3 coins it's a bug =)

Also the Zorra Winter's quest chain (Stage One Epic Quest) has nothing to do with this weapon (part of the Stage Two Epic Quest).

Awesome the way Kris interacts with the community, he's really stepped it up and has answered some key questions, I am quite impressed. I like learning stuff about the missions, but I also like being surprised. I keep saying I'll be heading to Cyrene soon, but I have a feeling that I'll be heading there sooner than I thought.
