Greetings all ..
While waiting for the VU notes to come when the servers go down ,first of all lets have a look at some of the things players have chatted with me about some of the issues on Cyrene at the moment and the result if change after the VU. Fortunately the issues are getting smaller after each of the latest 2 Version Updates. Lets have a look at the issues that the community has raised.
* Flying mobs going UNREACHABLE when using ranged attacks.
Tip : When you aggro a flying mob or any mob that is UNREACHABLE it turns around looking directly at the avatar, once the mob is flagged it will eventually come after you, it will turn off the UNREACHABLE flag when it attempts to either attack or you defend with your evade/dodge skills, stay stationary dont move backwards, likelyhood the UNREACHABLE flag will activate again.
* Swamplurkers going invisible when they are flagged hostile (aggro)
Tip : Hunt in 3rd person mode drag the health bar of the mob before aggroing it when it goes into invisible mode use the health bar you dragged and attack with the health bar using the left mouse button while walking backwards, shouldnt have a problem with that method.
* Mobs tend to push you slightly making it hard to fap (this has been greatly improved in a previous VU but still is a slight problem)
Tip : While killing, if you feel you have been pushed step back one step before you fap
* Skyshatter Robots & Stalker Bots and the sound they make from when they appear on your radar screen, Hearing mobs being attacked by another avatar right to the edge of the radar (up to 200m away) from where you are engaging the target this can be very annoying and even a few avatars said it can give you a headache.
* Getting stuck at revivals appearing underwater then surfacing and getting stuck when reviving
Tip : Just jump once when you are stuck, or a few times if your caught at the revive with another avatar in the same revive spot as you.
* Trouble targeting fast flying mobs or fast swimming fish. Seems that the animations disrupt your targeting when the birds flap there wings or the fish moving erratically.
Tip : Use the same tip with the swamplurkers going invisble , it works try pulling the health bar before engaging under (sometimes over) the actual target, Once you have the target then its the same as invisible swamplurkers move backwards while attacking, important make sure that the target does not get trapped or will flag UNREACHABLE then repeat using the flying mob UNRECHABLE option.
* Trouble targeting Duster Hunters when they glide making it diffucult to target.
Tip : Use 3rd person and drag the health bar on your target use the left mouse button to engage shouldnt have much more of an issue.
Next Part is developer UL weapon fixes, as everyone aware that there were too many UL drops and the majority of these ranked weapon drops came from Mature Mang Chang and no other Level 30+ mob (excluding the TEN drop) which was mentioned in the last VU preview, seems that it was out of the developers hands and was the fault of MA, hopefully this is fixed this up and coming VU and I wouldnt be suprised if those ranked UL weapons become extremely rare because of the over drops in the previous VU.
