Harassment and abuse in Entropia Universe

Hello dev. team and players.

Yesterday evening I witnessed one of the most unbelievable things I saw in EU. Couldnt imagine there are people capable of something like this. Let me start from the beginning. This player that you will see in my below video was caught on video (on Twitch.tv by Mr Aframo) trapping event Zeladoths mobs and killing them easily with no armor decay and no fappping. He was using Grunt, one of the lowest armor from Entropia Universe while the other hunters are using their best armors to survive on these strong mobs. Searched on twitch. tv the video but seems Mr Aframo deleted it butI think he can confirm what I wrote above.

After some of the players, that hunt the event mobs, saw what he did and didnt allow him to cheat further he started to act verry bad and make the hunting experience a hell for one player.

This is Kjellings case and I will show what happened.

Yesterday I was away from Planet Cyrene and Kjellings told me he had some bad times with this player on the event mobs. He also said he will need some healing and I decided to come back to Cyrene and help him.

According to the EULA this is against the rules so will see what MA has to say about it.

The guy is undeniably an a@@, lets hope MA will do something about it - even though history has proven that they take their own EULA lightly in cases like this.

Systematically trapping mobs should be enough to get a (temp) ban.
("systematically" = not just once and maybe by an accident but repeatedly and intentionally)
Systematically griefing other players, decaying their armors and turreting their mobs should result in perma ban... but, it won't happen unless ppl start doing something about it.

So, whoever reads this, make a Support Case, say we need help stopping the exploiter and griefer. Add those YouTube links:

about the trapping: i personally don't have that much problems with ppl trapping mobs. i mean it is not that they get loot for free. they still spend the ped to kill. i know that this opinion is unpopular and i also understand ppl who bought high lvl equipment being pissed when someone shoots the mobs without this stuff. i saw ppl doing this too when hunting but i didn't care. they usually have lower kill speed and the mob gets trapped ofetn. personally i consider it more a clever hunting tactic than an exploit. see, in real life you also want to get in a position where you won't get hurt by the stuff you kill.... (it still is considered exploit by ma).
PLZ don't flame me for that, as i said this is my personal opinion and i really understand ppl hating and reporting trappers. for me it is no big problem...also this doesn't mean that i trap mobs myself!!!..i enjoy browing entropedia and find the perfect equipment to get a job done

the other thing is intentionally destroying others ppls experience. this is totally unacceptable and players doing this should get banned.

He has been doing that since day one...and not only he...

The hard truth is that MA doesn't give a shit about these kind of reports if only 1 or 2 players sends a support case. Otherwise there would be a huge list of banned people already. A lot of these "suspicious" players I still see online from time to time doing their thing and nothing has changed...so unless a lot of players decide to send a support case about the same thing - nothing will change.

Yes, eSoul got her ban for trapping only because loot was too good and draw too much attention.

Hah - I've seen this guy. He seems to have a stockpile of Turrelion ware he is selling slightly below market averages to capture the high mu% value. At least now we know how he scores his supplies.

im not sure about it anymore, just check this:

The Argonaut Scout creature are a relatively low level mob but they can nonetheless be a challenge to new players. To counter this you can team up with other players and use different roles as riflemen, Healers (FAP) and even escape vehicle drivers. This way your team can build your own distinctive way of hunting and create loads of fun!

Loseing aggro from a mob by jumping in VTOL isnt an exploit for healers because they dont hunt. And why to die too, just to make more decay/peds?

from everything ive read on the various forums and from support cases using a vehicle to lose aggro is only an exploit when used to avoid damage(armor and fap decay) while actively dealing dmg to a mob.

say you are hunting agros on caly and suddenly a group spawns and starts to attack you. i am lead to believe that it is allowable to enter vehicle and retreat out of their range then reengage your target...

but until its stated clearly by ma we will only have to guess from vauge and conflicting support cases and forum posts by devs on the various forums.

Creatures don't lose argo on ground vehicles they simply run after cars (Drivers means driving vehicles) as for aircraft you (Pilot) which all aircraft and spacecraft lose argo when jumping in.

It seems MA has made their decision and carried it out. We don't know what that decision was. Another "last warning" most likely. But, who knows.

AxeMurderer, if u stumble on this thread by any chance, be so kind and tell us "last seen online" date of this guy?

PS: And i totally agree with Thanatos. "Escape vehicle driver" is too controversial term for an official post. We need clarification, otherwise anyone can interpret it any way they want.
