Are there any plans to allow us to upgrade our Stolen Imperium armor sets? (previously known as the A.R.C. Initiate's armor)

Ark did it long time ago with the Viceroy.

Hey guys,

Let me touch on these points:

Are there any plans to allow us to upgrade our Stolen Imperium armor sets? (previously known as the A.R.C. Initiate's armor)

It's not out of the question, and there's a few different items we've been wanting to give improved versions of, however there's a lot of tricky balancing involved and it's not very simple to achieve, but it's something that we want to do in the future, this set included.

id be happy with just being allowed to get it....

This is the real crux of it right? Not every player that plays now has it and we have to find to let new players earn it.

and please make it look better!

2) The improved version should look better, but of course this is art and is subjective so only time will tell.

Yes, upgraded Viceroy provides +1% critical chance (focused blow) and +20% Evade.

I agree wholeheartedly. While we didn't get codex this VU we got something even better, and something worth staying and grinding for. Great work, finally you guys deliver. Keep up the great work!

Being able to have a UL armor again is wonderful, but I have certain doubts and I hope they can be answered.

1: the Paneleon armor is very good, it can be a generic armor almost like the Viceroy, but nevertheless the Spec Paneleon I find it very weak ... I don't see any use for it ... so, what is the purpose of that armor? only serve as a bridge to obtain the adjusted?

2: once you have the Spec, the real upgrade begins, which improves the armor, but only if you have badgets will the NPCs talk to you ... then, how many badgets are needed for it? I'm 267 and I can't get them to talk.

3: in this case I cannot know what is necessary for the upgrade .... and if I convert the good Paneleon into the bad Spec and then, once I have the necessary badgets (not how many are necessary) I find the cost unaffordable or simply not I want to do it and in the end I get a bad Spec armor?

4: Apparently it is a tradeable armor ... will it be like that in the future? Or will it happen as with certain weapons in the past?

5: are the missions repeatable? Can I have multiple armors at the end of everything?

I think that both the Paneleon armor and Spec Paneleon armor have applications for hunting low level and high level Paneleons here on Cyrene, or any creature that has both high burn or high impact damage in EU as a whole. While the TT for Paneleon Spec isn't quite as high as some players might like, having it be part of the upgrade mission we didn't want to have it be much higher.

If you have 267 A.R.C. Badges it you should be able to talk to all the NPCs. Adjusted is 25 A.R.C. Badges, Improved is 50 A.R.C. Badges & Modified is 100 A.R.C. Badges. Do you have them on your person or in storage on another planet? I haven't heard of this issue reported.

If any players can chime in about what might cause this issue please do so here.

You can see from the NPCs the ingredients before you do any sort of final trades to the NPC in question.
You'll also be able to see the armor that it makes within the mission itself in the coming Mini Patch.
There's a lot of good info at Cyrene Secrets as well.

As far as I understand this armor will NOT be avatar bound.

ok, kriss, ty... the problem is if you abandon the mission, then the others NPc not work... ok, i know about the components... some of them are very rare... better and more simple my viceroy, less problem for ingredients....

ok, kriss, ty... the problem is if you abandon the mission, then the others NPc not work...

Aha! Yeah, there's some streamlining that we'd like to do for these NPCs but we also have to preserve to make sure it's not exploitable. More work to come for quality of life for these guys in the future.

No, you don't have to have the Stolen Imperium armor to get any of it. You can come today and start to collect the Paneleon set and work your way up to Modified.

Quite the opposite, there is great usefulness in an armour with strong impact protection, also impact+cut. I'm gonna have to make two sets before upgrading further because I wouldn't want to give this one up again.

Also very nice the new loading screens. Do these represent actual design plans?

That armor is not available to players kris. You do have one similar in loot tough, but quite rare.
Loving this upgrade misisons so far. All we need now is you guys getting rid of that ugly cap and give as a cool helmet instead

So wait, do we upgrade the stolen imperium armor, or is this a new set we get and upgade? Why does all the wording imply we are upgrading the stolen armor when it's just the same armor type? Still awesome though.
