This is like real 'WOW'..I used to hear 'tourists' to tell me if i don't like something i should move to another planet, but hearing it from C-team is very disturbing..Common Kris you can do better then that, changs and rhinos were dealt within few days through support reinstating kill count...and no, don't think there are more ppl now with the same issue to overwhelm the support ...
The problem is, Kris apparently cannot do better than this because the platform 'situation' is making things impossible.
It looks more like they are happy to waste his time but always put in a killer bug somewhere he cannot find and keep things broken. Recently, Kris has not even been able to get an oil rig up and running, so the latest screw-up is possibly driving frustration into the stratosphere.
At this stage I would be saying: "right everybody, give me your mission stats, send a support case and cancel the dire weed mission (and the other mission mentioned above somewhere if relevant). We can sort something out after I have banged some heads together."
I don't know how many people it is affecting anyway, but it is likely to be more active and enthusiastic Cyrene players on higher mission levels of dire weed.

I don't have any new updates from MA or support yet, when I have information I'll post it on the forums as well as the client loader.

When you say you should have checked this thread first, have you actually 'read' through it? Kris mentioned the basic problem in the OP and Hec showed a workaround which some have used and some have not wanted to:
Kris: So the Unknown Error: 0 seems to be linked to one of the Dire Weed Chain Missions (and not the Mang Chang Mission). It's really strange as there were no conflicts or errors that occurred with these changes on the test server.

and the error message changed to the arc challenge dire weed one. (at least while interacting with NPCs)

There are unresolved questions around whether your dire weed count will be reinstated once the error problem has been solved. Some people have not cancelled the mission and left the planet for the time being instead. Kris has suggested there will not now be a quick fix, so if you want to stay on Cyrene the balance is towards cancelling the dire mission/s.
Suggestion to Kris: although I have suggested mattyo should have read through the thread to find the answer to what he asks, it would be better to have an admin-only (Kris-only) sticky thread where the most important issues are kept reasonably up to date. At the moment this would include I guess a) the dire weed mission/error problem, b) a short statement that the oil field is not working, c) anything else such as status of the booths, events etc.
If you can set the thread so that the latest message is shown first, you could even leave original news for people to see lower down even after things are changed/solved. That would be up to you, I guess

I'll see about setting something like that up, but I think the bigger issue is that although we do try to promote the forum as a place to get news and foster communication between Planet Cyrene and it's players, there are people don't want to come here.
I think the best way might be the Client Loader (which every heading does point back here to the forum) just to try and help keep everyone on the same page.
I'll make a simple sticky post about the Dire Weed issues now, and link it back to the Client Loader.

I think a forum thread doesn't permit sorting posts the other way around. The blog format does that. Indeed many software companies use it for this type of communications.If you can set the thread so that the latest message is shown first, you could even leave original news for people to see lower down even after things are changed/solved. Actually, the last Mini Patch didn't change anything, it downloaded but no actual changes got pushed through, it was really weird. We were then not allowed to have another mini patch go out, so this is the first try that we've had so far to resolve this issue unfortunately.
I was checking and watching after the servers came up yesterday to see if anyone still had the issue and this was the first post about it: is anyone else having this issue? Any screenshots or error codes to see what, if anything, has changed would be greatly appreciated.
Now that the latest changes have actively gone out we can see what courses of action are available to us.

I'm sure it's dire weeds though...worst the mission got broken again to all who dropped it in the past. There were multiple cursings in Cyrene channel after server restarted. Can check the logs. Worst even as those who dropped the mission once again can't take it back as the terminal is gone and NPC at ARC Staging would not give new one.
