My Observations

I have been around Entropia for quite a few years; very much a mid level depositor. Never really had any great success nor significant losses; I don't play that eco but try to play sensibly.

Just recently came across to Cyrene, and I must admit I am struggling:

1. The mob spawns are too big and the mobs generally are far to aggressive. Frequently I end up with far too many round me which ends up in an untimely death.
2. At night it is far too dark. I genuinely cannot see anything. Today I tried to play - it was dark so I had to log off.
3. In the morning it always seems foggy and needs the sun to come up to clear the fog away. Does this have to happen every morning?
4. The chat channel can be somewhat unforgiving. Whilst a number of my questions may seem quite idiotic to those who know the planet - to me they help me acquaint myself with the planet. I think it is very important for others to remember that with so many planets we have a choice where we spend our money.
5. The grpahics on some of the mobs are really poor. For example the drill bots. These are also another example of mobs that just swamp the player.

However I don't give in easily and I am here to see what this planet is all about :)

I don't know about the mob spawns, they are pretty small in my opinion. If there are three or four hunters at a given location there can even be too little. So I guess it depends on which mob you are hunting.
On the agressive part, it depends on the mobs. Some mobs hardly have any agro, and others i tag from a big distance, maybe if they walked around a bit less they would feel attack us less?

I agree on the chat though, it has been going down lately. I guess it's because cyrene is becoming more popular lately with the A.R.C. Missions and that adds a whole lot of new people on the planet.

Yeah, I did it. So what?
If I may,, I have to point out one thing,, Yes some of the mobs move a lot. ( and I mean A. LOT. ..... lol ) but to me.. its part of the fun. it keeps me on my toe's and paying attention to everything around me... not just *auto target*,,, *auto tool*,,,, "NEXT" .... *auto target*,,,*auto tool*... "NEXT"....

with the wide range of movement of the mobs. I have to work to stay safe,, I have to think and adjust to meet the situation....

And to me.. That is FUN....... Just say'in... :nana:

Yea the chat here is full of assholes who hate everyone who tries to help, I get a lot of flack for it but I try to help as much as I can for every question. You can try PMing me (Thaddeus Rusty Venture) and I will answer everything I can.

However I personally very much enjoy the foggy mornings, and at night I find if you adjust the fullscreen gamma settings it is not nearly as bad as Arkadia's night.

Kat, you are not the first one to complain about the graphics, specifically how bright, or dark it is outside.
This seems to be an issue on other planets as well, and YES, ark can be really bad at night too.
Hopefully this is one of the things that they are going to get fixed in the next VU which was supposed to have been released already.

A lot of questions can get answered in Cyrene chat or if it's more of a general question about stuff more cyrene related like mobs, ores, tasks, you can always goto cyrenesecrets.com. There you will find information that is reliable. Currently some of the info there may be a bit outdated, but that is because the author is waiting for the VU to come up so that when the info gets put out it's correct and they are not spending hours and hours chasing all over the site trying to 're correct' everything because it got changed again.

I wouldn't worry too much about some of the bickering in the chat channel. Just like any other community, or family, there is always some kind of quarreling over something or another. Some people don't get along, others are not really liked and well, it is what it is really. In America we call that the Red Headed Step Child. The one who really doesn't fit in.
