FIXED No More Hills and mobs on hills

As title say dont add More Hills and mobs on hills, evry player i talked hate to hunt,mine on hill, mob stuck,people stuck,cant reach mining calims , just look at merf beach spawn alot ppl are pised becouse of horible spawn and mobs kill themself in water. Make upcoming new area Flat as possible

I actually like hills... real funny looking and exciting when the mobs or your pets go jumping down the hill. Looks like you are in a ninja movie or something.

I understand what you are saying, but when the terrain is flat, it looks boring as hell... At least put in some buildings or trees or something if you do make it flat.

When using auto-move-to-target, the mechanism is sometimes too primitive to handle obstacles, yes. So what, it tells me then I'm just too lazy. You're not climbing mountains with one hand in your pants in the real world.

I don't think he means make like minecraft flat world just lessen the slopes and in the merfolken area in general flatten it out more like a beach rather than a cliff; without a counter on the summon the gladiator step in the zorra winters epic mission you have no idea if kills are counting cause if you go to top of hill you are out of designated area specified by mission but this is where the majority of mobs tend to spawn. I would like to suggest making kills count throughout cyrene for said mission as well cause with more than 2 hunters it tends to get a little bit cramped and by using select next target there is a good chance of kill stealing thus animosity among fellow avatars.

It seems to me that the real problem that bella was getting at is that players expect a certain level of, let's call it "Spawn Etiquette", such as the mobs aren't spawning on the very steep hills or instantly drowning in the water or constantly blocked by 3d objects causing the mobs to be unreachable.

For the next VU we'll make changes to the merfolken beach spawn in particular, as well as checking the other questionable spawns to make sure they are following this Spawn Etiquette.

I do want to mention that there is no future plans to create Cyrene re-imagined as a Minecraft world (although a collaboration between us and Microsoft/Mojang would be awesome).

I think one of the spawns that crazed me most was imperiums, near that docking bay with piers etc. Not sure if its spawn issue, maybe more like how the mob behaves. Dunno if this is relevant thou.

It's something we can take a look at as well, it might be related to them being on objects vs terrain, or it might be an issue with mob parameters.
