The suspense is growing. There are at least three possibilities:

#1 Old Jack was never meant to have its own spawn area because it is a special creature. This error was corrected by removing the dedicated spawn.

#2 The disappearance of the Old Jack dedicated spawn is linked to a small story involving Tamangon Volcano. The bulk of this story has not been uncovered yet.

#3 An Old Jack dedicated spawn will reappear in the next Planet Partner VU.

What do you think is true?

I just don't believe there was any plan to have a L59 mob (Old Jack) be a boss for a L65 one (Old Flesh Ripper) ;)

i would call those type of mobs "rare spawns", not "boss mobs". i think that single maturity mob, like old jack, dont have to be harder, or be higher lev, than other mobs that look similar.

cheers

Let us hope they did not decide to make Old Jack a rare spawn just for the sake of having Old Jack as a rare spawn :D
