Hey guys,

I wanted to let everyone know here that not being able to put a BLP amp on the Ranked Flamethrower is not intended, and this weapon will be able to accept BLP amps after the next Planet Partner VU.

Just wanted to make that clear.

Tiered the flamethrower to tier 1. Good point - I only had to go off planet for the garnets. Bad point - someone beat me to it.

Is it possible to get garnets on Cyrene? If no then Kris needs to do some serious thinking about tiering UL items on Cyrene. Also and I'm just being a jerk here - tiering Cyrene gear with Cyrene specific resources would be a good idea. I don't want to mess around with lyst and melchi.

Tier 1 recipe for a ranked flamethrower: 500 lyst ingots, 225 melchi crystals, 97 garnets, 195 blazars and 92 tier I components.

I think this recipe is about the same for the ranked imperium 1750

Hey Neuromancer!

We have no control as to how item tiers choose the ingredients they need. I agree that tiering Cyrene items with Cyrene gear would be great! I will look into this. If it is not possible, we'll definietly try and make common tiering components more available on Planet Cyrene.

thanks for that info. would have appreciated to know it 4 weeks before i sold the one i looted... this Information makes a difference of 5 K ped more or less :-(

I'm a tiering fool. And edited the last post.

Tier II requires 81 ganganite ingots, 102 garcen lubricant, 195 garnets, 390 blazars and 132 tier II components.

And a trip to Calypso.

Not wanting to create a new thread for a possibly redundant question but couldn't find the info – What do I need to target species- or level-wise for a chance at one of these? Now only 3 skill steps blp sniper away from being able to use it…

Probably all of them are already looted. All these ranked weapons mostly dropped from Rhino Beetles, Mang Changs and SkyShatter Robots.

Ranked scorpion still drop from Tide claw - Big ones.

Dunno, last one was looted Sat, 27 Sep 2014 18:32:15 unless they changed these weapons back to "common stuff" so they won't show up in the HoF list.
