My first 10k kills yielded an average of one BTC for every 300-400 kills.

My last loot was on 07-May-2016.

Since then, 2432 kills, zero BTC.


What do you think? What's your story?

Yes, they've been scarce.

Looted one today around 4:15 am MA time, our first BTC in June. But then, we don't kill collectors every day.

I'm now at 3536 kills with zero Basic Targeting Chips.

Would anyone else care to share their recent experience?

It is now almost October and we have only been able to get one BTC in the past week killing several different levels of bots, including the scout bot collector xt. From what I have come across in the forums this has been an issue since 2013. If any moderators see this post can you pass it along to try to get this fixed?

I got 2 chips last month, doing the A.R.C. badge mission (110 kills daily)

Other than about 60ish for each of the others I am doing all of my Ultimate noob mission on the Bots on Atlas Hunting Grounds. Will see how many BTCs I get.

Just finished Ultimate N00b Challenge, I did 10k on scout bots - got 24 BTCs in total, 2 just today. So they still drop - one every 400 kills from what I see. If you compare that with some historical posts it looks like drop rate is about the same. The problem is that drops are very irregular, today I got 2 from killing only 500 bots - but there were also times when I got none in 3k kills. I guess you need to kill a lot to converge to avg drop rate - 10k I killed is probably not enough too.

Update:

Scout Bot Collector XT: finally 1 BTC after a 5739 kill drought.

Weak/Watcher/Soldier/100/200 are dropping one every 200 for me so far. (small sample size 1164)


Last year Cyrene was nearly empty during Halloween Mayhem. I looted 4 BTC in one daily Collector run!
