:banghead: 12:00 UTC is 8PM in my time, and i gonna have 3 days trip from May 2nd~5th:Cry3: , so please reserve Cyrene's very first ATH for me, I will take it in May 6th:loveshower:

Don't worry, it will take a week to fill Cyrene's lootpool enough just to have decent hofs, not to say ATH :p

Unless it's prefilled, of course, but if I'd was the C-team I wouldn't see the need for that. Who cares about loot when there is a whole new world to explore (filling the pool in process ;)). Personally I'm going to dive into action the second I step onto the surface, loot or no loot.

No all mob loot pools and item pools will be empty , however since Next Island and Rocktropia launched MA has made a change to the loot system, making it 100% fair game if you are due for an ATH, doesnt matter which planet your on you will get it as your loot comes with you everywhere you go, no matter where in the Universe you are, Mindark said at the Planet Partners Conference last year, no avatar will be disadvantaged going to a new part of the Universe as your skills and everything to do with the Balancing of your Avatar comes with you.

Your personal loot cycle is avatar based, I believe it will be tough in the first few days working on which mobs you will camp unless you want to do adventuring and try to find all the mobs and test out whats good for you. Getting the Teleporters will be the challenge as it will be like "The Amazing Race" I cannot wait and ill have to get some sleep as 4 hours will be 1AM my time Cyrene Launches on a Wednesday.

Im sure the Cyrene staff will not spill any teleporter locations like NI and Rocktropia did making many starting teleporter locations, im sure we will all have at Least 6 teleporters on the Map, 5 being home bases of the 5 faction NPCs lands and the main one in Janus, im sure Janus is a neutral area cause all the newcomers will start in Janus the capital city of Cyrene

As starting a New Adventure is going to be tough ..here is a checklist

Dont forget your Quad, Slepnir, Boat and car or 4x4 and maybe your pitbull.

Dont forget to bring your best weapon and amps, and nice eco weapon to for noob mobs to test, Dont forget to bring enough enhancers.

Dont forget to bring FAPS and a decent set of Armor.

Dont Forget your scanner or Sweater machine. Dont Forget Welding Wires and a repairer.

Dont forget your standard BP books. As i guess alot will craft for the new BPS.

DONT FORGET IF YOUR MS FLIGHT TO CYRENE COMES UNDER ATTACK BY PIRATES AND IS CLOSE TO BLOWING UP GO TO THE TT OF YOUR MOTHERSHIP AND TT ALL YOUR STACKABLES, AS IM SURE MINES MAYBE USED FOR THE FIRST TIME. You can keep track of the Health of the MS, make sure you are near a TT when all the health get near to RED. - Its your choice what you do in this important checklist.

ie. enhancers can not be looted, Welding wires cannot be looted

So there were some uberloots in the first day of hunting on Arkadia. This is not consistant with needing to fill up the local loot pool.

Moi Aussie !!! I wonder why they scheduled the downtime so late , usually its like 0700 UTC . The timing means OZ, SE Asia, China and Japan will have to miss out being first there, unless they are unemployed or totally obsessed. Oh well some part the world has to miss out I suppose.
I might just stay up

On the other hand, Planet Cyrene, unlike other planets, is going for a "soft launch", which essentially means that they don't plan on marketing themselves until they've presented themselves at Comic Con in June/July (whenever it is).

I don't think uber-loots is something we necessarily will see; they don't need to give us that.

Hoping for the Best
Just as an FYI about time ... I know it's going to be a challenge for some, but guess what? ... it will be noon on the East Coast US for me if Cyrene launches after the servers being down for 4 hours, AND ... it's going to be 11pm for Ed and Kris because they are in Thailand ... along with the rest of the C-Team, except for myself and Lykke who is in Denmark, so it'll be 6pm her time I believe.

But you're right ... this is the soft launch without all the media hoopla, which will take place in conjunction with Comic Con, and then our Media Team will throw it all out there. :D

So janus isnt Cyrene main commerce center/city then ... hmm what is then ...:)

Arkadia - Celeste (some academy firebase starter locations)
Rocktropia - City Of Dreams
Next Island - Crystal Center
Calypso - Port Atlantis
Cyrene - ??? hmm Janus ??? - Well MS9 said NO so i guess they are hiding something. lol

Ed Robles mentioned Janus as the central commerce district and capital center of Cyrene years ago ...has it changed since ??? Or is Janus just the imperium government headquarters.

Ed also said Whether you are a refugee, re-clone, or an adventurer who heeded the call for help, Janus will undoubtedly be one of your first experiences on Planet Cyrene.
