Thank you lilmc for jumping in game and seeing who'd run over and help test some mobs yesterday.
Took about 30 minutes before we got enough people together to really take on some bigger mobs. Seemed like everyone took turns in Cyrene chat to let everyone know to join in and where.
Anyways once things got underway it was a great to see some of those mobs that had been removed from Cyrene. (hopefully to return???)
Noticed some newer players complained the mobs were too high dpp/ammo, and that was pre-dukes! It's the reason why new players have no interest in events and saw same thing on other planets. Perhaps consider special events for players with lower professional rank, say no professions over 15-20? Or one that only uses TT weapons?? I know crazy but as far as I know, no other planet is trying to keep/get newcomers interested in events by doing something like that. And getting MA to code it so only new players have access to such an event area will probably be a problem?
Anyways more screenies!
I noticed one time when everyone dc'd. Except lilmc and I. Anyways I learned awhile back not to file bugs or support tickets when this happens since MA will blame everything else like routers between their server and the players. Perhaps you could have someone look at that because there was only about 10 of us and 8 dc'd at the same time!
I don't have a screenie of that, so here's one from revival terminal. lol
When we first started and those dukes were too hard (imo) because they were together to agro and we didn't focus fire on just 1. And I wrote that because later on after lilmc logged off, we shot 4 dukes i think. Anyways we thought all the dukes were done, people left, i was seconds into logging off when someone found 1 more way out on the ice. So 4 or 5 of us took it on and yes it took a while longer but we did it and globalled(see last pic out of 4). When I say we, I mean I was mostly the rodeo clown who firebombing it to just get 1 hit afterward lol. Still I was glad to somehow get ~20 ped in shrapnel from the global.
So I think everyone found it entertaining and fun to be part of.
Plus it's great to see you doing tests on the live server with us bunch of crazies!
And I enjoyed helping to test things last night.
PS. A BIG thanks to lilmc for NOT summoning sharks with lasers strapped to their heads.
