Wish List Time to allow us to improve our Cyrene gear

Heya all,

i think it's time to allow us to improve our Cyrene gear

Some suggestions :

-Imp BE armor to Modified BE armor, maybe same armor or a little bit better + Evade/dodge buff or Focus blow/increase critical hit damage

-Ozpyn BP S1x4/Ozpyn HK S1x1 on adjusted weapons with a better eco

-Neff's fap ofc

-Xent tech Prototype riffle to adjusted one, make it better than X3

-Zyn'Kimbro Fishing Spear to a version with more reload maybe ?


If anyone have some suggestions, you are welcome

While we have one improved armor and refurbished fap, on other planets you can adjust, improve or modify many items.
I also think this is a good way to go.

Good call. Everybody has their own ideas I guess, but please be mindful of the potential for spoiling them when thrown out in the open. Rather send suggestions by PM to the team instead if you want to ever see them implemented.

While talking to a guy at the Rookie Centre, he told me to make sure to finish my discipleship on Arkadia so that I can get Musca armour as a reward instead of Pixie. This got me thinking, why doesn't Cyrene give Turrelion armor then instead of Pixie, since the stats evens out well with the other two and it's a truly Cyrene armour. The PvP token reward (or I think a quest gives it, really confused on how and where to get it) can still be a source for people that didn't finish their discipleship here.

Don't forget about the Stolen armor, if there is one armor that identifies a cyrenian is that one. An adjusted version with better protection and some passive buff would be nice. Make it use some common material from cyrene so people can farm their own set or buy it from others.

There is a problems with Stolen. Untradable amor and new players can't have/find this armor
I think they should focus they work on items who all can have and not for a small community.

Well, it doesn't need to be an exclusive thing. I'm just saying that among the many things that could potentially be upgradeable the Stolen armor is a good candidate. We had to work our asses off in a hurry in order to get it, and there are a lot of sets out there.

Of course, I bet this isn't a popular opinion between those who don't have it.

In terms of Stolen being Untradable imho it's no different then viceroy on ark and I've no problems with that.
From what I've read about stolen armor it's sad it's no longer available, but that just makes its 1 less thing for me to bother with, so meh it works out in my benefit.

How about another level to the fap mission??? (Refurbished H.E.A.R.T. Rank VII)
I know there's many fap's out there already but this is Cyrene's at least.

Not sure if everyone remembers that Stolen Imperium was put out by mistake. It should have been available only at a later stage for a lot more badges. This led to the solution of allowing a time window for people who had already begun the mission to complete it and walk away with a prize much too good for the effort, but it could not be allowed to continue for everyone else who began only after the error was realized and made public. (Hope this is related correctly, haven't double checked the old threads about it.)

"Planet X did this therefore we should, too" is not a very convincing reason. Copy is usually weaker than original, and in the long run it leads to the whole game being dumbed down.

Recently we're seeing other planets copying Cyrean mobs and textures (things suspiciously similar to tide claw and rainbow crystal texture came out just this VU). Perhaps it means Cyrene is doing something right.

The fact that Stolen Imperium was released by mistake (for the umpteenth time) makes it seem rather unlikely that it will be selected for an upgrade mission. At least not until the regular path is opened to the public as originally planned. This might not be popular with those who got it. Their numbers are limited, unlike the rest.
