Hey guys,

There's something strange happening out in the deserts of the Turrelion area.

It appears a rift has somehow opened between our world and Turrelia, and Turrelion Crystal Pedes are pouring into Planet Cyrene!

This rift will be open from 2014-03-19 00:00:01 to 2014-04-18 23:59:59

All active hunters are requested to head to these coordinates: 123264, 79197, 136.

great to have events like this.

Unfortunally i was done in 10 minutes

The pede hitbox is a problem and the location is pretty unusable.

not gonna participate in this because of that.

Agreed, the hitbox of this mob is terrible (not your fault, but you did pick the mob) It looks cool though. The location is horrible. They all spawn on the cliffs and you have to fly or tag 3 at a time with rocket launcher or just not kill many. I got a few clothing items so far, but my fear is they will sit in storage for long time with no real use - and just tie up TT peds.

event location is a bit annoying, but cuz to that, the spawn isnt swarmed by players, so i like it actually :D

From the patch notes for this current VU:

- During this VU there will be two Event Spawns that happen with rare weapon drops and special clothing used to access upcoming missions for the next VU.

so the event mobs on Cyrene are only 500hp (compared to the hp on arkadia and calypso, RT event mobs) its chicken feed , dont know whats going on at the moment , unfortunately ive exhausted the last of my peds and until the next deposit i really cant do much. Hunting the big mobs on Cyrene has completely killed me..is just not rewarding (no unique loot for hunting big mobs) seems that the Tanok Amber only drops up to Patron Level and is really rare (Tanhok Amber sells for like 400ped, and to spawn the Queen Empis is sooo expensive) , before i do my next deposit I need my spirit to return, seems ive lost the spirit for now.

Until I get new uber armor (Perseus breaks so quick on Omicron/Xi Zeladoth and now the rest of my L armor is gone) theres just almost no hope of hunting big mobs but the drops have died off on other worlds and all we have on Cyrene is Force Oxpyn Armor which doesnt not even protect against Zeladoth Nu, Xi / Prowler Stalker Vlanwing, Looter Overseer Protocore (hazard armor and the ISOR is useless on these mobs) I thought by the time now with all these new mobs that we would have comparative armors to hunt these mobs , hardly no mod or imp fapper services on cyrene, Its just getting so diffucult to hunt the mobs i want to without Supremacy L or Persueus/Sentinel L which there is no substitute on Cyrene, along with higher level weapons , Cyrene its about time you start catering for the skilled players , as these event mobs are not for skilled avatars - Its just seems similar to the Holiday Jellyworm event.

Thats not nice at all since it is nearly imposible to get to the low amound of smaller ones in between.

I think if there is a demand for it, we could have an additional, smaller spawn of the lowest level Turrelion Crystal Pedes at another location =).

So, have there been any rare weapon drops and special clothing from these events? I am looking to travel and if stuff is coming from the event I'll be travelling to Cyrene

The event pedes have been dropping the clothing from the start of the event. The second mob spawn isn't in game yet, so the weapons aren't dropping yet. You will need a full set of the clothing of your gender, which consists of pants, boots, shirt and jacket, for the event. I am not sure about the weapons yet, just waiting at this point.
