Bug Report Unexpected Error Dec. 30 2014

I recently landed on Cyrene and as soon as I landed I received an Unexpected Error message stating that an action that I tried was causing an error.
I only landed, fueled up a my ground ride, to the teleporter to the supply depot and then left the planet because I would get the error every minute or so.

Hello Wren,

Based on your report here, I would have to guess you are a returning to Planet Cyrene. This error is caused by some old daily quests that had to be altered.

The way to resolve this error is to abandon the daily missions in question.

I hope this helps, if this does not resolve the problem please reply back here.

Cheers,
Kris

Kris, I have a feeling this error is going to keep popping up as folks come back to the planet from wherever. Every time it does it's going to be a WTF?? situation and we will walk them thru fixing it via the chat channels as we have done in the past already. The error message does not always say which one is bugging out which makes it even more frustrating for folks wanting to play.

In this case though, it appears the person didn't goto chat, the WTF? turned into Oh just F it, and the person left the planet. This is not good. Is there any way in the next VU or mini patch or whatever you can just delete all the active daily's from the DB that might be causing it? Don't wait for a person to come back to the planet and go, oh wow, what's this problem? Remove the mission before it has a chance to chase them away.

Hey sluggo,

Yes, it's something we've been working on but it's not so cut and dry unfortunately, either way it's in the works, just figuring out how to do it and cause the least amount of problems.

Cheers,
Kris

This happened to me also when returning to Cyrene since a long while. I finally figured out it was some old missions that I had not completed so I simply abandoned them and everything is good now. I look forward to spending more time on Cyrene after noticing many updates and improvements during last visit!
