I really hope that there is an update that is timed for the Comic Con, as that is a massive opportunity for new players. Possibly the worst thing that can be done is give new players a bad impression. If MA is not able to integrate the official launch changes next week, then Cyrene publicity needs to make it very clear that several development lines and items are not yet in game and list these, whether it be the function of different crystal types or whatever.

If some economic chains are not full circle yet it should be made clear that new players can get a start now but should be aware of either stacking certain materials, or tt-ing only if they really wish to continue cycling. Make it clear that better returns on played peds require the growth of a trading economy...

Something like: please feel free to explore in advance of delayed full release implementation, now planned for date x. You may wish, however, to wait until all the economic lines go fully operational (hunting, crafting and mining lines) before starting more serious and longer online sessions. We hope you enjoy the opportunities provided in this start-up phase of Cyrene, gaining knowledge that will be of long-term benefit.

Good luck!

Edit: dang, was caught off-topic by last two posts... sorry!

Is the damage listed above the 'naked damage' by the mobs? Maybe it would also be easy to write a damage range as well? Is approx. 30 damage always something like 15-45 damage (apart from crits), for example?

Its just approx damage as we dont know what damage does what, and what the hell has just happened in the last 30 minutes has MA suddenly turned cyrenes loot on . See my new thread for details

Ok, so you are wearing armour and can't tell how much of each hit type it is protecting you by? But you are assuming, for example, that approx. 30 damage would be done without armour?

Yes, I've seen your new thread.... so far it's other generic loot that is now on then? - lyst and oil already were on in mining...

Good thread. Wondering if the position and damage types of these mobs are now documented somewhere? If so maybe a visit to cyrene may be in order :)

Hi Agis:
I know you'll see this here, and I don't want to post in your guide thread so that it stays as clean as possible for your guide episodes!
You wrote: Note that Vibrant sweat will become a commodity on Cyrene eventually cause it is the first world that uses it for crafting...
This is not the case, as at least 2 of the other planets also have bps that use vibrant sweat. Also, the universal welding wire bp also uses sweat - and thus repairing vehicles or motherships requires sweat too.
So just a small edit and I'd agree with you...

Lower than the lvl 19 on your list I think there are some nice mobs for sweating, by the way: the dire weed and the 'crabs' for example...

:)
