Visit to Cyrene maybe...

So I am thinking about visiting Cyrene... I was there on the soft launch..paid the for a MS trip there since I was really looking forward to it, explored it and really liked it, but it was kind of broken (or rather unfinished) and empty at that time.

I have been avoiding Cyrene for roughly a year now, waiting for more information and missions etc...but I see people loot nice things, and my brother told me the mobs are beautiful and fun to hunt.

So I am thinking of taking a trip there for a week or so and I'd love to get some suggestions on mobs to hunt and missions to take from people who have spent some time there.

Gear is:

Gremlin, Vigilante, 6a and 5b plates..and I can do between 30-50dps. So suggestions on mobs and such would be welcome. Entropedia sadly doesn't offer much information atm.

Hey Ned!

Cyrene is a great place for ppl who prefare hunting for MU items/ingridients, rather just gambling on globals.
Some mobs are difficult, some are annoying, but this actually makes their loot to have MU. Those who complain, probably prefare to gamble on low MU loot.
This is where the will is more important than peds spent on ur gear. Even noob can profit here on MU thx to that!
some examples here:
- swamplurkers drop their oils and hides, MU 200% and 150% atm (hp 60-220)
- all noob area challange mobs (hp 100) drop Synthetic Rubber - i dont remember MU atm, but its nice also
Mining is good here also, many materials got high MU 120-200% and u can get those with rookie finder.

For ur level and gear, i think u could try some Paneleons, that drop unlimited items from time to time, maybe not best in game, but with MU. Their Tail Tips (crafting component) have nice MU as well. Maturities suit almost every level of avatar.
There is also a mission on them, but a bit messed up atm, cuz just Old Alphas counts in.

Just did a 90 ped hunt on them swamplurkers and I got 0.48 TT of swamplurker oil and 0.98 TT of swamplurker hide.. if this is not a bug I don't see any "MU" here. To get a descent amount to sell at that MU you'd need to cycle 1000's of peds. Imo they should raise the TT value per hide/oil or increase the frequency that would solve it.

You don't expect to get rich are you? To earn something you need to know how to do that. Blind shooting until your gun brakes won't give you any profit.

well... i do around 30dps with out arson III. and i hunt

zyn'dos with pixie 5b
imperiums scout grunt vet with vigilante 6a. depending on you dodge and hp i guess.
rank one pilots can be one in gremlin and 5b
stalkers i dont mess with since they decay gremlin and 5b alot... but can be done.
young to provider paneleon can be done in gremlin, while the older need the 5b plaating for me and the crits and big dmg make the dominats and alphas pretty hard to do the old alphas and domestics are easy.
duster scouts with gremlin 5b/vigilate

all the above for me can be a bit of a challenge to hunt as most are about 1k hp and do decent crits 50-90. i have 17 evade and 13 dodge with 124 hp so... like i said a bit of a challenge

Well I got 5kp left on Drone stage 5 after that I'll celebrate with a Cyrene vacation =) thanks for the tips guys

Gremlin with 5B and 6A plates will get you a long way on Cyrene. For the imperium scout and vet grem 6A is fine. Grem 5B for stalkers (this works for mobs up to lvl 36). Mang chang matures (lvl 40) is possible with grem 5B.
You should head to Arc HQ for a bunch of missions, also Cragg's Point West and Center of Janus.
