Hey ntelinatsos,

Hi, what did you do to the Vlad the Untraveler and he doesn't give loot??

I took another look at his loot list and checked the rates, which have been unchanged for quite some time, and everything appears to be in order. However, I do want to check in with MA about Mazeweaver certificates and make sure they are in the loot pool.

Can I ask: how many times did you kill him? was it bad loot or no loot? did anyone else speak about this issue?

This will provide more info than the reports will I think in this case.

i came in cyrene after long time and was the first time i killed it after long long time.. it had no loot..
in the start i though it was a loot delay but few seconds later i killed one of these little bats and i got loot from them but nothing from the VLad

you may try it yourself and tell me if i'm wrong

Kris, Vlad cant be looted at all. The loot event just doesnt happen at all. it just vanishes ater you kill him. This has been posted here before and its been like this since the vu were you introduced the tp at the end of the maze. I ve killed dozens of times since then and never got a loot event at all

Very interesting, I went on to the test server and spawned/killed him a few times and there's definitely something going on, especially in context with his loot vs the the Turrelion Vlanwings.

Oh! Slipped through the cracks here then I'm afraid.

Its something that we'll be looking into adjusting for the next PP VU.

I'm 10,000% at fault, I kinda just dropped the ball and set it on fire.

Did you know the average homosapien needs to be told three times before they can remember.

hmm... no update on this then yet? (he's still not giving any loot it appears)

Support ticket sent in about this issue and the issue mentioned over in another thread regarding the maze.

Yes, there were some sync issues with the last PP VU that prevented some changes from going through, we'll attempt this one again for the next PP VU.

When is 'next PP Vu' scheduled to take place?

Since you are working on maze... couple of other suggestions....

Make end tp work (if you walk in to the red glowy circle thing it doesn't warp tp you back to start... still have to hit t now)... If it's just not centered or something, make it centered since it's annoying that standing in center of the tp isn't where you have to be to make it work?

Add, or move the end tp thing from the 'end' of the maze to a location next to the the mining equipment since most folks coming in aren't going to 'end' the daily maze there at the end... they are going to go grab the other waypoints after doing the timed run... logically, putting it by the mining equipment, which is 'the innermost' waypoint/end spot would make sense, at least to me. That's where I usually hit T to get back to the npcs to turn everything in.

When I do it, which may not be the most efficient way, I typically run to the 'end' to beat the timer, then back track to kill vlad, get the burrow, then get the restless bones, and finally get the lost mining equipment... I can pick up the burrow on the way in the first timed run, but don't like doing that in case vlanwing gets in way or something to slow me down too much.

Once your inside the red glowy circle you will need to jump up to activate the warp ability which will send you to the Mazeweaver NPC area. I can also talk to Kris about lowering the activation point as we made it higher so players don't accidentally run to far and warp themselves out.

I understand completely about beating the timer. We were looking at the maze to add more functionality. However, that may be a while as were focused on other parts of the planet for now.

On an off-topic note, the same is true for the instawarp at Isle de Zel - you need to jump inside it to make it work.
