Way Cyrene Is Made ?? Important Note to Visitors & Complainers

In 2012 - Many people have complained and whinged about how slow Cyrene Development is progressing (some say that even this planet is dead like what happened to Next Island) ..let me clear the wind and also being quite blunt (no offence) , As a colonist (and there are a handful of others) who has worked hard bringing Cyrene into the limelight there are some important notes people should consider that Cyrene is in no way competing with other planets.. it wants to be unique , all those complaining that there is no MU , the mobs are bugged cause they evade your attacks yada yada ...yada , Today is the first step to showing just how hard a handful of colonists have worked on Planet Cyrene. The Mining system .. i admit has been difficult, but there is nothing wrong with the hunting system. Today is the reward for our hard work and dedication on Planet Cyrene .. but it doesnt stop there, theres more work to do and support from our travellers helps a great deal in bringing Cyrene forward.

Cyrene will finally go through one of its major phases of its evolutionary model TODAY, and show why Cyrene is the way it is , the planet evolves differently and uniquely than all the other planets. Its the players that shape the future of Cyrene not the development teams, initially entropians do not understand this theme and if it will work in a real cash economy environment, but it is as it is, the core storyline aspect of the planet, its hard to grasp this concept , but i understand that the Cyrene Team want to keep this planet unique to other worlds, at the moment its a hard to play , beaten up world with steep mountains and swamps and rugged terrain, deserts and sand eroded cities..this is due to the planet that has gone through a global faction war that has crippled the whole planet, its market and economies, government and operations, all thats left is a handful of rebels, some turrelion raiders, and some skeleton size remaining faction members.. the objective for the colonists is to bring Cyrene back to life.

Im sure the Cyrene team dont care about competition between worlds, they have a plan , and im 100% positive it will become a very popular world in the coming years, even though its pretty dead now, but there are dedicated colonists that are hunting hours and hours to potentially revive a dying world..as hard as it seems thats what Cyrene is, and I know its gonna be an awfully hard slog, but eventually players will see Cyrene come to life..believe what you want.. We need your help, help us shape the future of this planet and accept the way this planet will work.

Its different to other worlds, no doubt , but explore Cyrene a bit before you leave , you will notice minor changes are happening in areas that have some acitivty in hunting and other professions. Theres lots to do already out there, you just have to adventure out into the wilderness and discover what potentially Cyrene has to offer..Important Note

As the Cyrene team has always said , Its you the colonists that shape the outcome of cyrene. Not Them.. dont compare Planet Cyrene to whats happened to other worlds..

cheers

Irony mode on: so if it fails, blame the colonists? :headscratch:
Still on: if it succeeds, praise the colonists?

Anyway, it looks as if this vu today should make a very big difference - I really hope it does!
However, if colonists shape outcomes, then it would be nice to be able to learn what happens consistently as a result of colonist action.
For example: neglected mob area? With no enemies, the mob progressively weakens and spreads. Hunters start to hunt it? The mobs learn to resist. Overhunting? Hmm, consequencies not so good maybe? Nope, there has to be a development plan behind colonists' actions and not simply population formulas.
I thus cannot agree with the OP's opinion, but ok: made to look like it's the colonists evolving the planet!

If it succeeds, I'd thus like to praise the developers at some point in the future....

if hunting one mob type alot can make them try to protect themself, but leaving other in peace could help them grow lower and weaker maturieties i expect to see some higher lev paneleons and zeladoths, cuz they are hunted often, and some lower levels of empis and Zyns, cuz they are not hunted much and could grow some maturieties for levels about 20

who wanna bet? :p j/k

I think its the other way around, neglect a mob the mobs density and population including the mob getting tougher and they may migrate and gain more interlect , if you cull (hunt) an area keeps the mob spawn and limits the possibility of getting a base overrun, mobs become easier to control if area is culled often , compared to being nejlected, thats how evolution works, not the other way around. Our job is to control the wildlife , beasts and robots and cull regularly to avoid them going completely wild and rampant, in this case more construction of better bases with better defenses and more chain missions, and a more prosperous territory for mining and other professions. In essence more jobs for us colonists
