Yes this is a known issue with Cyrene currently, however the work around is to contact support and they should be able to switch both the armor and vehicle to the Cyrene version.

Unfortunately you can't keep the mission and then turn in the mats. You need to have the mats in your inventory, then get the mission and prompt the turn in dialogue, otherwise nobody will talk to you.
