Bug Report 15.3.0 VU BUG report

Travelling through time...
  • Paneleon pet doesn't have trick animations.
  • No trees to cut down?
  • If player skips any platform in Sky Labs Platformer, the mission is not completed when reaching green teleport.
    • Why? If my avatar is fast enough to jump over a platform to save time, why should I need to slow down? In previous instances avatar speed was an advantage.

The Test of Strength Daily Mission in the Zyn Immigration area where it spawns the panelion.
YOU PUT A TURRET THERE!!!!

The thing gets killed the moment it spawns :(
The whisker biscuit fish mission, courage? daily the mission giver is half buried in the sand now. Mission is doable though.

Hey guys,

Going to go over a couple of these:

  • Paneleon pet doesn't have trick animations.

This should be resolved for the Mini Patch.

  • No trees to cut down?

If there aren't any trees to get cut, I'll talk to MA about it, but we didn't really have a hand in it.

  • If player skips any platform in Sky Labs Platformer, the mission is not completed when reaching green teleport.

The platformer (any of them) don't work that way, you can skip as many as you can except the 1st platform and the last platform (which start and end the timer). I had no problem finishing the platformer on the test server, but I'll check again what could cause this issue.

I will write here since i cant start new threads anyway ;).

At HUB Proving Grounds - killing others does not give 4 Lime Green tokens anymore... i am guessing its a bug and not a feature since it will rather make players not fight there at all and just camp spawning tokens :).

Love the no radar change though ;).

I feel like being impolite at this point - often in English described as being "a tad miffed".
It does bring up the question of what you knew/know of the harvesting system (I know you can't say), and whether MA mentioned which trees would have harvestable versions. There then need to be spawn fields that match tree types (at least the types match on Caly in any particular wood or area of trees). This means that 'someone somewhere' ran code for this.
It is possible that Cyrene has no trees of the right type (which would be an epic fail of brainpower), or nobody went over all the land servers with whatever tool. Either way, it's pretty shoddy!

Oh, and please don't misunderstand me. Without your helpful communication I would probably have given up on Cyrene completely by now, so your openness is not making things worse - it is helping to make things less hopeless!

Next minor bug: waypoint showing after killing 1000 Drill Bots (Miners Psyche quest) is directing to old locations npc.

If anyone will be looking for the guy he is obviously in one of the new Stagin buildings: [138836, 77132, 112]

To devs: please re-check all missions wayoints that are leading to re-located npcs because probably there are more bugged like that...

There is something more into this bug... some players drop 8 lime tokens on kill and some dont. Also those who give tokens aslo loose the "sweat toxic shot" and need to pay 10 sweat again...

I am one of the "divne ones" since i do not loose the enterance fee on death and i dont give tokens to others...

So this bug is really nasty since it gives crazy advantage to some (in this case me and few others too) since dying costs nothing and killing those "blessed" gives no reward.

Arent there any test servers? Does anyone test stuff before putting it out, does anyone Beta Test anything anymore? Im sorry but it just seems that shotty after shotty poorly thought out sloppy bug keeps coming up and they never seem to be fixed even after many VU's for a lot of them.

Example, A turret is killing mobs upon spawning in area A, Fix: let's move the turret. One would think it would kind of be a no brainer to check that it's not going to kill mobs in area B where you moved it to. One would think if you played with any other turrets you'd check that they are not doing the same thing as well. Apparently not. Things like this keep happening too, over and over again, it just seems very ameteurish for someone who is going to be putting out a planet (a business) and want people to use it (spend money there). I can see 'noob' mistakes but you have had a few years now to learn how to do this thing, you are past the 'noob' stage.

It's still dark as hell at night, you can't see a mob to shoot it in places but it will sure beat the crap out of you. But hey why fix old buggy stuff when you can put out brand new buggy stuff right? It seems like the devs just really don't care, and a reply of 'we'll check with MA on that' to every complaint is wearing very thin as well. Someone needs to start taking responsibility here and offering answers instead of constant excuses.

I haven't experienced this on the test server, in fact the amount of tokens rewarded as been increased from 4 -> 8, as well as the sweat requirement to enter from 5 -> 10. It may be that you have to be killed by another player and reenter at the new fee. Either way we'll investigate.

We have designated 4 types of trees that are in large amounts on Cyrene to be harvested. I believe that there is a fix coming for the Mini Patch.

The new Staging Buildings have been removed for the Mini Patch, we'll double check all the NPC way points.

I take full responsibility for the current situation on Cyrene. Yes, there are still some persistent bugs that need to be addressed, however, there is a hierarchy that these need to follow, not to mention that we can't always resolve all the bugs alone. We rely on and are fully integrated with MindArk, it's part and parcel. There are a lot of things that we literally can not do without them.

I can't get into too much details, but we're working everything out as we are able. I understand that it can be frustrating that these go unresolved and that you feel ignored. That is not the case, we do our best to listen to all feedback from players and improve all areas that we are able.

Yup i died from other players few times :). And i dont loose the "sweat toxic shot". Also i killed few players with similar "bug" on them and they dont give any tokens even when killed few times.

My personal guess is: when someone had the "sweat toxic shot" active before update he became "bugged". And only fresh players who enter the PG have to pay the 10 sweat each time they enter and die. Just a tip what you might want to check first ;) - ofc it may be something else.

I get a iritating error mesages about the yellow crystal that pop up all the time. It come in any situation ewen crafting it come for each atemt wich make me have to close hundreds of them. This sign is in the middle of the screen so when i hunt i dont see what i shoot at untill i closed the message.
I hope u can help me to get rid of this error message somehowe thx.

I have been fine with Cyrene since the Stolen armor fix. Bug I would like to see fix are the missing TP's north of staging and depot.

And not a bug, but I am throwing it back out there, MISSION TERMINAL please. leave the turn in item ones where they are, but can we please get the kill this and that in a terminal. Other than that, I am happy, lol. I do wish I knew how to update wiki, along with others, just so we can stop asking so many questions in chat.

* Venataur mob bugged, seems to be spawned under the ground, you can take dmg from it but you cant see the mob or dmg it...

Afro just out of curiosity, did you try 'next target' and see if it could target it? That sounds a lot like the bug with the one bot for turning in the daily zorn ore. If you can get close to it, maybe an AOE weapon like a grenade launcher / rocket launcher can do some area damage to it? Just some suggestions

Lazz, you can resolve that issue buy abandoning that particular mission. However you must contact support before you abandon it to be able to keep your progress with it.

This is something that we wanted to do, however, we've got to make sure that when the change goes live that it doesn't cause missions issues like Lazz's.
