Not a good issue to be talking about right now with the Cyrene team. I'm guessing they have been fighting with MA to beta test it first, but MA is at the stand where nothing needs beta testing since they NEVER make any errors.

I think they have an unfair advantage.. they have a test computer that dosen't show the bugs!!

Oh, can't forget this one...so what you are saying is that we will be paying you to beta test?

No, what I'm saying is, that there wont be a beta were outside testers can join (as that is how I read it).

But if you find something is wrong after launch, you are of course welcome to tell.

A job as a game tester is normally a job were you test in close beta, before release - with lots of documentation. And I am not sure how that is done at MA (but that is proberly were you should apply).

And about my first sentence: it was a bad joke meaning that as a new person I would suggest the person to try out the Universe but wait until Cyrene is launched (because it's going to be great) - but I see that could be misunderstood ... (AND I see the guy is not new ... so ... just forget a bad joke attempt lol)

No, you didn't sound wrong at all. But we here in the game awhile have to ask if MA even beta tests before releasing. (just a month ago, MA released the largest mob ever with 2 million HP and forgot to put in the loot - yes a lot of pissed off people )

So this really isn't a joking matter and why you will be getting a lot of requests for someone to help since they just want to make it right the first time.

Other than that, yes, I can't wait to go visit the planet - which I read it will be released on the 21...or was it the 28...or was it sometime in March?

O while building up rumors, I heard that the first people to create forum accounts up to my account will all get free apartments deeds??

But the Cyrene team is testing everything they can in house - but you never know what happens when things go live.

They are working on doing everything the best way possible to avoid things will mess up for the players, but the truth is there will always be a risk.

And some of the things are in the hand of MA - and I'm not sure how they test their part of things - only know Cyrene is doing what's in their power.

We all would love to see this planet released soon - but have no doubt, that it's not 'delayed'.

mistakes and flub ups as well as forgotten stuff is really a part of every game out there even beta testers miss it... and from what i heard the person that spawned the Mob got cost of spawning reimbursed the rest of the people got to see it as well as i'm sure a lot of skills off of killing it as well as maybe better ways to hunt it so in the end will help you out.
