Bug Report Cyrene Report Thread (14.3)

Lets list here all issues popped out on Cyrene in this global VU, so maybe it helps devs and MA fixing them asap. Add ur comments, ill update OP asap.

  • hit boxes broken on most of mobs // still crappy and small boxes
  • even more issues with swamplurkers going invisible and targeting them Swamplurkers dissapering bug got worse at VU14.3 (Hagbard Celine) // partly fixed, so partly not
  • lag while swapping guns (tagger - pistol) (WangXiang) // got lag while swaping fap - gun / i got it still
  • server status in client loader is wrong (Kris | Cyrene :p) fixed
  • weird behaviour of avatar (running backwards for a moment) when engaging mob from diastance (kjellings) // seems to be fixed
  • too foggy (non) //still like in England on november morning
  • stuck in space (kj) / fixed

I confirm what Thanatos writes about "hit boxes". Some flying mobs are nearly impossible to target from a distance (Old Flesh Rippers for example). There is also a tremendous lag when changing weapon (tagger to pistol) while hunting a mob. This is extremely annoying... Please fix asap.

Also, the server status for Cyrene is not correct.

Cyrene is online, the Client Loader is wrong. I've already informed MA about this bug.

when engaging a mob from distance the ava turn around and run backwords abit before it turn around again

boohoo :p now im stuck in space! i tried to land on caly, recieved the approach msg but nothing happened.. have done relog + even lost connection, but wont teleport to revive.. puha life sucks :( have filed a supportcase on the problem

Yep, got moved to port atlantis and DC on my way back again too :p
so now im waiting for the support again...

yeah, hard work to get the guns you want ;)

I am sorry to say that, with VU 14.3.0.1, the hitbox issue has NOT been solved, at least for some flying mobs (such as Sea Wraith for example).

Travelling through time...
Neither for Scout Bots. Need to spend approx. 2x more time killing them and it is already so tiny...

Sea Wraith, Sky Wraith, Flesh Ripper cannot be hunted normally. Completely bugged. Difficult to tag them from a (small) distance. Nearly impossible for Flesh Ripper.

For Rhino Beetle, it has become better after the patch but it is not as good as it was before VU 14.3. Hitboxes still too small.

i hunted some weak sea wraiths last night after i saw the disco thread :p. turned off move to target and it worked better with out the crosshairs moving to try and find the hit box. few misses but no armor decay or missed shots weapon decay on missing the hit box so its an ok work around.

When you have finished "a tale of legends" it says Listen to the tail of Lazidol, it should be tale.

But please, Kris, do not forget that we are currently unable to hunt flying mobs in 3rd person view/cursor mode/left click due to the hitbox issue.

I thought this was a good play on words =) but yes, the tales and tails are now right =)

hard to hunt almost anything on cyrene, even large mobs got too small hit boxes

There are numerous hit box issues all over Cyrene and MindArk is aware of these issues and is working on a fix, however I don't have any ETA on when that will be unfortunately, hopefully soon.

When I get an update about anything listed here I will post it up A.S.A.P.
