This is me a few hours ago: "Hm, I think I will head to Planet Cyrene; it's such a nice place with fuzzy-buzzy, pinky-winky animals that my evade alone can handle. Yeah, I think I will to Planet Cyrene."

This is me 10 minutes ago: You take 158.7 points of damage.

(I saw that there already exists a thread about Skreel the Nasty Eel, but this will bring more attention to a mob which probably is of some interest to people out there, unless I am late in finding out the whereabouts of Planet Cyrene's Leviathan.)

FYI: Cyrene's TT-armor gets ~160 in dmg. With URSA armor I got 70 and 70 in damage before dying with a 135 dmg hit.

I don't know if this is anything to go on, but I do warn you! I know eels, and this eel is not an eel to take lightly (you see what I did there? it does light-damage! haha!).

We managed to kill it by fapping a lot. Its health is not of issue, but its damage is. The loot was uninteresting, but I guess if any animal would drop something cool alá Cyrenian, this ought to be one of them.

Fenris is a sweet thing, just globaled on it. Hoped for that UL shotgun, but apparently the free lunch is over

Also, I suspect that its damage is mostly shrapnel, because 5b doesn't decay and 6a+neme decay very little (~50 pec total after 3 fenrises), so if your armor doesn't protect from this exotic damage you may as well hunt naked

I used Vigi+6A and it does help but they still hit 50-80 range, Cant wait till we get more info on what their attack styles are.

Well, as it turns out, I don't actually have a desire to live. I went to try out the nasty robots all by myself, thinking myself a god of the arena, however it didn't turn out as I expected; even though I dressed myself in uberduber armor, URSA, and uberduber plates, 6A, I still felt forced upon by a big, fierce and very pissed off robot. All and all, this was an experience which changed me. I don't think I'll ever recover. I lost something today; a part of myself which I may never find again.

Hi forum,
Trouble wth theses mobs is their low level. They do hit somewhat hard if you are low skilled ofc, but you wouldnt expect that from a low level mob. Cyrene would need some rebalance in the mob levels. I am an ok skilled and most mobs including skreel dont hit me often. Skreels sometimes dont hit at all before i kill them. My evade and dodge levels are well above the mobs level and i think that has direct impct to it. You would think that mob at such level would hit less or at some times would have less health. Then again its Cyrene and many things here are different than what we are used to on other planets. I would still prefer more streamlined mob levels just so hunters like me have a place to keep skilling at somewhat decent rate.
