i repeat:

defiantly dont try to launch shortly before an expo your planning on going to. Get the bugs worked out first. do a very very soft launch no media nothing just let us here know about it. I dont even care if you hold back on the "cool" items dropping too. Just make it a test. to make sure there is no major hickups like you die and revive inside a cave that you can't get out of.

You won't have too long to wait my dear ... Unfinished Business - Part 3 will be published soon and I can assure you that there will be quite a few cool new photos and sketches from the artists, along with reveals that I think the community will like. ;)

The episode is finished except for a bit of content that Ed still needs to give me, and then after he and Kris review the final draft and I make any necessary edits, it will be available. :D

I'll post it here first, and then at EP. I really like this episode because of the new stuff being revealed, but also because of the action and the cliffhanger - IF that's the direction we decide to go. :p I can't see us not doing the cliffhanger though, because it could very well lead to a Part 4, if not something entirely different. :whistle:

What is the point in having an official forum if you're going to post important news like this on a third-party forum instead of the official one?

Most likely there are more people atm that are watching the EP forum until Cryene launches.. I think he just wanted to get this info out to as many people as possible!! :beerchug:

Either way I will wait patiently and while I am waiting I will continue to harass Lykke, MS9, and ofcoures Softy!! :woohoo:

As Oleg mentioned I also wondered the same thing.......but I accept Aliens response :)

And since we are on the subject, I interrupt Ed's message as: They were ready to launch this month but after talks with MA that changed. And now that they are not getting the media attention they were looking for they are waiting until later when they can schedule it to coincide with a game convention to attract that media attention. And has nothing to do with the game not being ready.

Yeah sounds like a good explanations to me. :beerchug: I would also think it was best to get all the ducks in a row before the launch instead of having to explain to the public why they got stuck in a wall.. ;) Simply put.. lets hope all the bugs are sprayed before launch!! :D

Hello Oleg, welcome to the forums and thanks for the concern. We have always intended to reveal the release date at EntropiaPlanets. We currently have a contest going on there for guessing the correct date that they were kind enough to set up for us. Also we did make a post to show the link to the info on this site.

In the future we will be posting new information on this site but we will also be giving exclusive info to many other sites in the form of site specific exclusives, media wires for all sites, and site specific interviews. We will always link to the information for the site/sites that are involved in the news about Planet Cyrene.

I know it would be nice to have all the information on just one site but it's just the nature of the beast and we are not alone in this area of the business. This is common practice for game companies that want to release information, etc. Please note that not all exclusive information will be shown on one specific site and we have released exclusives on other sites when asked by those sites. We work with all forums and news media that wish to reach out to Cyrene as best we can so long as we can mutually benefit.

Hope this helps clear it up.
