I decided to post my log here too. I'm a really really really small level hunter, so doubt it will be interested for anyone, but still, doesn't hurt posting... if at least one person will find it somehow interesting/useful, then it was not for nothing.

A few mentions:
1. All info presented here (plus quite a few extra bits) can be seen in Excel (Google Docs) format here (also, there it will be updated daily, while here I will only make monthly updates); just please do not try to initiate chat on there, since is my brother's Google account, not mine.
2. While I do appreciate a lot any feedback you might give me via a private message, please try to keep my clean thread and don't derail it - I want it to remain a log and just that, not a place for debating.

During all week days of this month I was busy with a hunting job (my employer paid all expenses and got all loot, while I end up with free skills) which we did in an attempt to find low level mobs that, because of MU, can be profitable for hunting, as it follows:
- (for eleven days) hunted 800 vixens / day, for a total of 8,800 vixens (with the results of said hunts being detailed here);
- (for five days) hunted 800 scout bots collector XT / day, for a total of 4,000 bots;
- (for five days) hunted 200 tree dragons / day, for a total of 1,000 dragons;
- (for two days) did both Gauntlet Instances on Calypso;
- (occasionally) some odd low level hunting, swunting and healing every now and then.

What's your setup on tree dragons? The cost to kill figure is quite high.

And yeah, I know, cost-to-kill is high and effective-dpp is low, both of these because of the low DPS, which allows them to regen quite a bit - I'm aware of it, but just don't have a higher DPS weapon (which is due to my rules to never buy a weapon that is achievable via normal in-game mechanics as in loot/craft).

That's also the reason why I stopped hunting them in the new month.

Barbarella+ZX would have a bit more dps and better range (weaks are really slow).

This month was quite an atypical one, in the idea that I pretty much took a break for hunting and, together with my employer, focused pretty much solely on our crafting experiment (which still fails to show any signs of success far now); anyway, the program was the following:

2016 Summer action plan

While I’m totally happy that I managed to acquire my second apartment and it really was a dream came true, the purchase left me in a rather delicate situation – I had to sell most of my other stuff and I still have a 450 PED debt, for which I’m paying a 5% monthly interest. And since no-one likes paying interests, especially at a monthly rate which is rivaling with AUDs or CLDs yearly rate, it’s quite obvious that my priority for this summer will be to pay, or, at least to reduce my debt, while, of course, still respecting my three golden rules:

1. Don’t deposit any RL$, except an initial deposit of $180 which is a bit less than what I paid for my apartment; that restrictions includes receiving money for any out-of-game “jobs” (like listening to online radio, completing surveys or anything like that).

2. Never accept any gifts (neither in RL$, PEDs or items) from someone else; also, don’t accept any tips from other people, but just stick with a plain 1 PED / hour fee for any service I might provide (which, at the moment, are healing or support damage).

3. Never buy materials or items that are still achievable via normal in-game mechanics (like hunting, mining or crafting) from other people, but gather or craft them myself; so, the only items I am allowed to buy are those that are no longer achievable by any other ways.


So how exactly do I plan to achieve this? Well, here’s the detailed action plan:

1. I intend to play EU for a total of 20 effective hours per week (not more, not less); while not necessarily a strict rule, the plan is to play four hours per day during week days and not at all during weekends, which will be reserved for real life activities.

2. Since paying interest is neither smart or fun, my main (or better said sole) priority for this three-months cycle will be to try to raise enough money to pay my debt (caused the purchase of the barracks) and, eventually, to buy-back my dog.

3. One of my priorities, at least for the foreseeable future, will also be represented by my pet walking service, which allows me to earn not only a small “salary” of 1 PED per day, but also some free skills, while not spending any effective playing time.

4. If I’ll get any offer for the other services that I’m providing (which, at the moment, are healing and support damage), which would allow me to earn not only 1 PED per hour, but also quite a few free skills, that would represent my next priority.

5. Otherwise, I’ll spend my time sweating (not swunting), since this should still allow me to earn not only 1 PED per hour and a bit of skills (although much less than in the case of the previously mentioned jobs).
