Limited Clothing is available from the Hunt the Thing experience. Well worth the trip not just for the free stuff but for the area itself as its a lot of fun (TP there from Rocktropia). I don't really think they balanced it correctly to be honest though. The truck I'd say they more or less got spot on ie typical wear and tear on in the arctic is enough to use it up more or less. The Chopper... well it'll last forever probably. The clothes though, at only 10pec each and L can only be used 5 (4?) times (and of course the appearance decays
). Passable but 10 times might have been a little more fun (I really really want a non L version of the trousers) and also stop the appearance from decaying. The flamethrower also could have done with a bit more TT to be more fun...but, yeh ah well.
Limited clothing generally though is an interesting topic. If L stuff is colour/texture - able then no one will really want to do it unless the TT is very large. Better to have maybe L pre designed gear like the hunt the thing stuff and plenty of it at low TT (eg a ped) that way you can always get a replacement and it won't compete too much with the old UL clothes.
I imagine no one wants their swanky black and red master coat shat upon by there being newer funkier clothing. I think inevitably when they next change avatars they will be making far far better clothing again (eg stuff like the eve forthcoming avatar system) so we will be due another shakeup.
examples of avatar creation system - tbh I think the male avas are more interesting:

example of avatar system (not yet implemended I don't think):
As to if this sort of level of rendering will ever be available in mmo's or entropia more the point is another question. We all know ce2 can do some good character stuff but it probably only works on a few characters not say "everyone at twin peaks at once".
Interesting times ahead certainly (and sorry if I digressed some there
)
