Perhaps that should have been made clearer, and ... your question brings up a very valid point. Perhaps it can be addressed by Ed, because if you create an account now, your starting planet will not be Cyrene, if in fact you want Cyrene to be your home planet.

Would also like to know what Ed has to say about this.

Hey BetaTester

No, it will not be today. If you are new to this universe and never played before, you can sign up in the registration to be a citizens on Cyrene.

But you can not play until the planet is launched.

When it launches, you have to finish up your registration and create your avatar.

When you then go into the game for the first time after creating your avatar, you will be starting out directly on Planet Cyrene.

If you are already a player in the Entropia Universe, you will have to travel from the planet you are on now to Planet Cyrene when it launches - through space.

Can you please tell me what happened after you downloaded the cyrene.exe ?

Did you get a drop down where you had to choose planet?

I can only agree on that the informaton on the Cyrene homepage could be... improved. It should cleary say that the game is not yeat launched and if
it's only a preregistration. Maybe not a good ideá to make them start and end up on Calypso because the planet are not launched yet.

The thing is i have installed entropia universe befor becouse my brother is using it (he's on calypso), so after registering i didnt download any file( btw its efpl.exe and not cyrene.exe), so after login i started on some island when i had some small mission with waiter,

And the major question is: Before using the TP, did you have to choose a planet or did you end on Calypso automatically?

We have never really advertised the registration so we did not expect anyone outside people who already know EU or people who have been closely following Cyrene. When i used the TP there was no choose on which planet i want to go, just email confirmation and i was teleported to Calypso gateway. Mayby there is some guy there that you have to go and talk with to be sended on difrent planet, i dont really know. When i was registering thru planet cyrene webside i though i will be automaticly assigned to that planed.
Some more detailed inforamtion about registering would be appreciated, and it is definytlly in Cyrene planet bussines to have new players assigned to it as start point

As of now you are on Planet Calypso's starting point. Do all missions in Gateway to get an idea of how the game works. Once all missions are done, then TP to Calypso. But please, do all missions first and you will get a better understanding of the game.

I for one am giving the Cyrene team the benefit of the doubt and have a good feeling about timely release. Excited to see the new stuff since I missed the boat for RT, Ark and NI.
I'm half tempted to park my quad dead center on the map and wait it out in the cold black of space.

Well, what's sad here is Cyrene is the last on MA's problems right now. I mean, the latest VU killed their depositing system!

Well Ed said earlier if testing goes well there may be an announcement this week and even possibly today.

However since when did testing not find any errors?

So my guess is we may hear something later this week or next week depending on nature of faults found.

My guess is Cyrene is going between Caly and RT since they moved CP to the otherside of Caly.
