Maybe Kris can say how many male and female avatars already have the armour and how many are on, say, over 50 badges (sign that those people are somewhat seriously gathering badges).
Then he can maybe agree to have the terminal stocked with a certain number as Jetman says, and we all know where we stand on this...
It would be the easiest solution in terms of programming I think, and if transparent to all of us then maybe somewhat fair as well!

50 badges is not serious, even an average player can get 70+ badges in a single day.

For people using the limited armour is better due to higher durability, for ones who were after a quick ped fleece (buy as much armour and sell after vu) not so good.
I see reasons for changes, all good as far as i see (and no i don't have the armour already).

Original armor was not tradeable, new armor is and that means the vendor will be cleaned out 24/7 due to people seeking tier rates/resale ability.

Well assuming you need to use shrapnel too, it won't be that bad. If you can buy with peds, i'll keep buying them till i have a full set of tier 1k+ armor :)

Also if it really is unlimited sales, ALL armor with less protection with a markup higher than TT+1 will now have a markup of TT+1 or be worthless, as this armor will be TT+1 price if it has unlimited supply, which is make MA even more angry then the UL armor.

ok, let's talk of what really important!
What do you think of the blueprint for the A.R.C. Lancer:dunno::dunno:

Because, seriously this BP is the nerve of the reward here!:boxer:

What's your opinion on this?

If you really think we will have the option at a better armor or any at all you are gravely mistaken, here is why.

1. They claim the armor will be unlimited sales of L armor. If this is true, MA will flip out and remove it entirely as they did with this UL armor. If untradeable armor hurts the economy imagine what infinite armor priced at TT+1 will do to the economy. That is the price I will sell it in my shop if it is unlimited sales along with many others.

2. If it is not unlimited sales, I will buy all of them I can, along with many others due to the fact it is tradeable. This means it will be sold out 24/7 like the 2.H.T.S. weapons and no one will ever get any. Which means there will be ZERO REWARD for the faction missions.

3. Since they are going to remove this UL armor, do you really thing they will put it back? If getting 200 tokens atm is too easy, imagine how easy it will be after the fact with 5 dailies and the ability to spawn mobs for extra tokens. So easy MA won't allow any armor rewards as it will cause the same issue that just occured.

Basically they removed all reward from the Faction missions forever with this one move.

Yeah if this is the case, it has potential to cause more damage than a un-tradable UL set.

If they dont change the BP reward to a bottle of sweat? Who knows and how can we trust them?

The A.R.C. Initiate Armor is now called Stolen Imperium Armor, this armor was meant to be part of the Imperium Faction but due to some issues this armor was put out incorrectly.I would like to stress that this armor will not be changed for any player that already has this armor, however, this armor will not be available at the Rank 1 Stage of A.R.C. once the VU goes live.

I create my account on cyreneforum.com to say you "Farewell"

This change in the ARC mission is totally unacceptable ! I came here because i was interested by this armor and this gun ! You can't change it now ! Let people who started the mission finish with promished equipments ! This is unfair and not acceptable

Hey guys,

We're working on a solution to this that will hopefully feel fair for the players who have been working to get this armor. As soon as we have an update on this I will post it up here.

Regards,
Kris
Well let's see what happens when Kris gets an update for us or Tuesday at latest unless VU delayed again.

Ain't nothing we can do anymore we've said what we wanted, now whining ain't gonna make it happen any sooner.

Hey sostoned,

We have in the works for a Rank 3 A.R.C. Faction armor, better stats than the Stolen Imperium Armor, also Non-Tradable, at the next of the faction Tier, but not for rank 1. It should feel special and accomplished and not at the basic level of the faction.

Kris

Who is going to believe that now ? Is it a joke ? Really is it a joke ?????

And also what about the promished unlimited gun ? Cancelled also ???????
gun wasn't mentioned, but apart from appearing in vendor we were never told about the UL gun, its eco, how many would be released, tradable or not, even if it would cost the 100ped shrapnel as that's the same cost of the L version. So for me the gun isn't an issue and this update isn't likely to change anything with it

If there is a limited numbers in stock, I will be in trouble. I got 106 badges and need 47 days to reach 200. A high end player that starts now, can get there faster than I can. If the bugs are fixed.

Here is my take on this.
Some folks are not super uber, to hunt all the big stuff to rack up the badges real fast.

Some folks don't live in mommy's basement so they have nothing better to do than hunt 14 hours a day to rack up badges. (although some of those folks I am sure are uber because they figured a way to convert welfare checks into ped)

Some of the missions were buggy which slowed folks down even more.

To bait and switch in the middle like this is VERY UNCOOL, no matter what the situation. Yes there are the folks who came here just to get the armor and will slither off into the weeds with their new duds on, but they still paid their Ped to get it! Then of course there are the cyrene regulars, many of whom are short on badges and this is a BIG slap in the face to them especially after they have been behind cyrene all this time.

Of all the 'proposals' I have to stay I like stoner's the best. You know when someone started the mission, if they started it within the last week or so ago, they are grandfathered in for the old armor... when they complete it.

Being an RCE game this is real money we are talking that folks spent, swapping like this after they spent cash is really a very bad business decision.

Here's one more idea, everyone who had badges as of oh say a week ago, gets a locked box with the armor set inside it, when they complete the 200 badges, they are given a key that allows them to unlock the box and get their armor out. That way it's already kind of 'pre expended' and you don't have to worry about inventories / dual stuff type mechanics. By box I mean container kind of like what we get on christmas. Oh wait... they fucked us out of that too, never mind.

Seriously, you really need to think this one through. This isn't just a bunch of people crying over changes they don't like, this is money you are toying with and they WILL Leave, it's not a simple tantrum you hear.

Oh and rusty, you can always write us a tutorial on how NOT to get armor :D
