The previous thread was being subject to censorship by the Cyrene team. Let us continue the discussion here.

Let us summarize: It appears that the Cyrene team always writes nice words about issues brought by the players but never comes with actual solutions. Last example: Wasp Queen FAP

With the risk of going off topic again and get this thread closed.

I state that my foot will not step on this planet unless I see a positive trend here:

- Complete loot pool what is expected to drop on this planet should be dropping (amber, crystals, ranked weaps...).
- Stocked vendors
- Working missions
- Returns over 70%

Unfortunately a lot of high quality players with big contribution to the community opted out.

You keep it desert we left you with the sands.

PS if you wanna see the true ambitions of the planet owner (Edward blah blah 3rd). Search for cyrene in wikileaks.
At 1st sight report is hilarious, but then you realize is the truth.
He just don't care about it anymore, a passive income that will be dumped or sold when it turns to a completely abandoned desert.

Bye bye and thanks for all the fish. :bduh:

I am nobody to talk, and I probably know much less than some of you guys. But you should cut them some slack, every planet partner you talk to will tell you how stupidly hard it is to get in touch and get shit done with MindArk.

My point is, calm down. Rioting really doesn't help anyone, if you are frustrated and don't want to wait sell your parts and move on just like I did. I have been waiting for news about this fap since 2nd of April (that's 4 full months), and in the end just decided to let them go.

Cheers.

In my opinion MindArk is doing a good job. The reality is simply that some planet partners do better than others...

When I wrote what I wrote in the thread in question, I didn't mean to rant or "riot" against anyone, just ask questions. I second that accusations of scamming or any wrongdoing are unfounded. What I am asking is a little help to better understand what's going on, or why something is not going on for so much longer than it usually takes to fix a simple technical issue, respectively, because it would help avoiding just this kind of accusations and hence be in the company's best interest. I also think that "censorship" is the wrong word, it was going off the rails. Let's keep it civil and to the facts. There are too many people who can't tell their own opinion from what is objectively true. Maybe it's all those greek words?

- Working missions
- Returns over 70%
I had pretty good returns the last time I was here, and I'm not counting in the hof I got. I'm always playing on a tight budget and if something doesn't work out, I change the mob or place until it does, all the way down to punies if I must. I don't see a difference to other planets here and you know all this, of course. Except that it was actually even better because of higher drop rates of thyroid oil (on Cyrene and Next Island and I should get a commission for this tip ;) ). All missions I went on worked. Avoid the few things we know that don't, and your activity will help them getting the rest done.

Return is MA part, then Planet Cyrene can't do anything. This is the same loot system on the universe.

All missions I went on worked

Yes mission with skills reward work, like all planet...

But specific Cyrene missions don't work.
I rewrite :
Zora Epic mission chain : all parts from final boss are not released
Tanhok Epic mission chain : all parts from final boss cannot be refined
ARC Badge : No weapons L in vendor 1,2,3 - No armor L in vendor 3 - No weapon UL in vendor 3
Oustside coat from Hub : Mission dont work
Cyrene Mission tokens : Harness Armor mold always empty - Weapons are often empty

What work ? :
Clothes mission Test of Faith
Inside coat
Refurbished fap

Thats all...

Planet Cyrene work for the hardlaunch. Ok, but before launch a new system, they must fix the one in game.

Edit : oh i forgot, deposit system work, they like your money

they are vendor campers, the harness does stock, but i often see a player log in and buy just the harnesses, probably guns too. then trys to sell the harness molds for 2k% MU
Constant deficit lead to speculations and you have to pay x times the actual price to get the product!
Can not blame the avatar that saw an opportunity to make some profit.

This won't happen on a planet with regularly stocked vendors.

with this way, maybe Planet Cyrene try to create a market :headscratch:

Yes they simulate the market of communist or post communist country.
Devalued currency, empty shops and huge deficit.

RCCE (Real cash communist economy).

It is like North Korea LOL

As for harness molds...

The guy who (together with his society mates) does this gave me an excuse along the lines of "I bought mission tokens for 2k%, this is the only way I can recoup my investment". I don't think that'd be an excuse for screwing it up for everyone else, and I also don't really buy the story but that what he said.

Now, there's some sort of a herd effect... knowing that these guys are keeping the vendor empty, so that the molds might not be available when I need them, I stockpiled a dozen, too. Sorry. Well, at least I'm not reselling them on AH.

Maybe it would help if these things were made non-auctionable. Then if someone still wants to hoard stuff for the purpose of racketeering, they need to go through the social consequences.

it would appear campers are a big cyrene issue, from the lime tokens to the cyrene token trader

Campers are not the problem here, but the low stock.

Example: I as a vendor camper do buy all the molds ~100 on day 1.
On day two vendor is restocked with another 100 molds and so on.
In this case I'd suffer big looses because:
- I don't have enough funds to to buy out all the molds stocked on day 2
- My auction positions will expire because vendors are regularly stocked and no one would ever buy it for such price.

Caly and Ark both have many vendors and 0 campers.
Why is this happening on cyrene?
