Another point about the stalkers is the armor decay is about 2.5x higher than other mobs - maybe because of the nasty crit hits. Not sure if it is a bug or intentional.

Not really teleporting. It is more like getting hit by a bus and knocked back 20m. If you try to kill a big one make sure you are well away from any turret guns.

The "return to mission broker" distances are sort of in the realm of imaginary numbers if you are over 3km away.

Can I get a harder landing area at Setter Dock when using a tp chip? Nine times out of 10 I tp either onto the sloping side of the platform which has a 1.5m vertical wall, or I end up in the water. Either way I have to run/swim to the shore or hit T to move what amounts to 2m.
