Cyrene Dynamic Upgrade Map Discussion

Cosmetic bug on the map:
Zyn Forest was: Lev 1 and 7%
and now is: Lev 0 and 11%

Seems that it should be Lev 1 and 11% ;)

@topic - i guess its time to make an effort and prevent the 99% Robo Base regression. My advice: everyone who is doing Stalker daily mission - please do it around the Robo Base instead at the Turrelion Desert. This might help to keep up the area - just my thoughts.

For some of the areas that are advancing terribly slow, or even not at all, can you do something, ie put some lucrative mobs there, or maybe a mission or two to possibly make it where people want to go there? If an area is doing poorly now, I don't see it getting any better 'just because', something is going to need to change to make folks want to go there and do stuff. Especially with the new stuff that may be added to other areas, it gives us even more things to keep busy elsewhere, besides the lacking areas.

Hey sluggo,

Yes! We're actively working towards make all the areas work and progress and working on improving areas that are lagging. In the next PP VU you'll see more improvements in areas that are behind.

Cheers,
Kris

So you are saying the Robo Base (map - sic) stayed at 99%? Hmm, maybe everybody took an advance of 1% as a given.... Anyway, it is lvl 0, so cannot actually regress to less (you wrote this elsewhere).

That also stopped 5 areas being lvl 1, so the staging meta area stays just below an upgrade too, I guess.

Many thanks for the notes on the changes and that we'll be getting the pet unlock next PP-update.

Are you allowed to say if the vu - said to be in June - is planet partner or platform? The reason I ask is because of CLD plots of land being developed elsewhere means the gathering of new resources for buildings is being introduced it seems. Is that a platform wide development (if you can say)?
Alternatively, can you say: is the next PP-vu planned to come before or after the next platform vu?

There is no way Robo Base should have stayed at 99%. I killed thousands of imperium there since the last update. Something is wrong.

Ive felt the same way about other areas Xen. But since we can't really tell who did what all where, there is no way to know for sure. Panton jungle is another that seems to have received a TON of activity yet is barely advancing compared to other places. It really sucks crafting at panton as well, when compared to other zones it's a total ped suck. Im kind of getting tired of dumping tons of ped into an area to see it not go anywhere really. Let the thing regress back to the stone age, maybe they'll take it off the map and we won't have to worry about it. It's like they are making it our fault if an area does not advance. Well if areas don't advance folks wont want to come here so it's kind of a two way street there.

I'm happy with any advancement we make, but i agree it would be nice if we saw a more direct effect of actions we make ingame. Something like among others this area needs 10 million kills, 10.000 missions completed, and 250.000 hours played. And you get a counter saying how much you contributed.

Off course this is a new system and would take a long time to complete, but I think it would be really nice, then you actually feel you're helping advance an area. Right now i don't feel my actions have an impact on the percentages. Off course i realize that they do, but i don't feel/see it.

If there was a counter i would surely be tempted to head over to a specific area to get it over 100% if it was close. It would help me decide what to do next at times when you´re not sure what to do ingame :)

Does crafting count at all?

Supposedly crafting does count rat but I find it highly irregular how 'stuff' gets applied. Im beginning to think they are working on xyz areas and are just going to advance those first over any others no matter how much 'work' is done in other areas. Afterall how are we to know any different, it's not like we can see numbers or anything.

  • Ngu Volcano
    • Level 1 – A dedicated spawn of Old Jack.
    • Level 2 – A new magma chamber opened to explore.

This one got me thinking, since it says a 'new' magma chamber: does that means there is a magma chamber there now that i missed in my exploration?

Hey guys,

The newest version of the Dynamic Upgrade Map is out!

As you can see we reached our first big milestone, the A.R.C. Staging Meta Unlock (since Robot Base Z.R.Q. is now level 1). I would like to congratulate all players on Cyrene for reaching this achievement!

Cheers,
Kris

Technically yes =), according to wikipedia however, in this case it would be more of an underground magma cavern that you could actually go in, not die, and mine/find cool stuff in.

November 12th map shows wrong level for Imperium Fortifications; also, several green bars seem a bit too short but that isn't really important as there are numbers.
